Because seriously." Not to mention if she really wanted to, she'd find a way to leave. But she wasn't out seeking ways to get hurt or doing something reckless like chase storms. At least he seemed to catch himself and realise that yes, things like Force choking could in fact exist as they were in Orange County. Anything was possible here, which was rather scary at times.
As he kept imploring her to tell him who it was, Clara felt herself getting a headache and just held her head in her hands, elbows on knees. It was an internal battle. Because she was Clara. She would withhold information to protect the Doctor. To protect Troy and all of them. Especially since she doubted Anakin was going to be coming back anytime soon. But he was also bringing up a valid point. That he could be doing something worse. That he wouldn't stop if he was. Because wasn't that what she'd been trying to argue? To tell Anakin not to go after the cartel that had killed his mother? That it wasn't his duty to stop people, it wasn't a right. It was him taking justice into his own hands?

She trusted the Doctor. He had always had her back in all of the dreams. Troy had always had her back as they grew up.
