Charlotte was ... a lot bigger up close than Katou had been expecting. It wasn't that he was so much intimidated by the thing, but it was definitely bigger than anything that he had faced so far in his dreams. He wasn't about to back down from a challenge though. He might have treated the whole thing like a joke, but the truth of the matter was that almost none of the people he cared about in this reality would be able to deal with something like this, so the quicker he could take it down without one of them getting injured, the better. It was worrisome enough that Jack and Wendy had already gotten upclose and personal.
Keeping pace with the thing wasn't too difficult, and he counted his lucky stars that he had been practicing flying, and that his astral powers had been getting stronger, making it a lot easier. So long as he focused on not allowing his third wing to collide with either of his other two, he would be fine. He had tried blasting Charlotte with astral power a few times, but it didn't seem to even phase the thing, and that was a little stressful.
He could only assume that the people the spider was chasing knew more about what was going on than Katou did, so he swooped down. He really, really hoped he didn't wipe out, because the leather vest from his dreams he was wearing (the only article of clothing he owned that allowed his three huge angel wings through without tearing) really wouldn't offer much in the way of protection from the road rash he was sure to get at this speed.
"Oi!" he yelled, hoping that the wind wouldn't swallow his words. "This thing yours?"
