"Alright," Pietro said to her, his body half out of the car. "But if you need to lean on me or something..." he let the end of his sentence hang in the air. If she needed help, he figured she'd ask. He locked the car behind himself and made sure to check Alice's door as well. She was simply too loopy to be trusted and if something happened to Pietro's car, someone would have to pay.
He led them into the apartment building and pressed a button for the elevator. There were people mulling about outside who seemed more or less harmless, but curious about the earthquake. Pietro took a cautious step closer to Alice so that he was at her side. Just in case.
