The sun shone bright, high in the sky against a backdrop of beautiful Los Angeles county. It's brightness touched the ocean, giving it a pristine, gorgeous blue hue; it's light made the glass of skyscrapers shine like beacons, and its heat baked the pavement and sidewalks that warm, Thursday afternoon. Peter, himself, was happy for the day; it was calm, warm, welcoming, and put him in a more upbeat mood than he'd, perhaps, usually be in.
The heat did hamper some of Peter's clothing choices, as the full suit he'd chosen to wear was beginning to feel warm underneath the black jacket, white button up, and skinny tie he'd put on this morning. Still, it was an important day, a chance to work for Stark Industries; it was a step to a full career after college. He had with him an tablet, which took the place of any briefcase he'd ever use; it was full of data and research and ideas Peter had, figuring Mr. Stark might be interested in what Peter had in mind.
He'd coached himself for an interview in front of the mirror, wishing he'd thought of asking Gwen to help him; though, assumed she was busy with life in some sense. Whether it be a new boyfriend, or... whatever it was else she could be doing that Peter wouldn't actually be super jealous about. Still, he'd coached himself, and hoped he had it down pretty pat.
Stepping through the doors into Stark Industries, and Peter checked in at the front desk; the woman behind the counter let Peter know that he was expected, and sent him to an elevator that'd take him to the proper floor, which he did, and then down the hallway through a more personal office space, where a waiting room was barren and terrifying. Suddenly Parker had a dry throat and needed to fill up out of the water tank in the corner, before finally checking in with that receptionist.
Now, Peter sat at a chair, looking at his phone, listening to Jumper by Third Eye Blind as he tried to calm his nerves, and surfed the web to help relax him just that bit more. His eyes continuously darting up to make sure he didn't miss anything.
