Weirdly enough, Clint was less of a womaniser in his real life than he was in his dreams. Although there had been the string of failed relationships, it was more because of his job than any actual notion not to make a go of things. By the time he made it to the Rangers he was less concerned with a love life and more focused on not getting blown up in a convoy. Which was only marginally successful.
"Well, that's the point, isn't it? Although I guess win enough and you've got bragging rights?" Straightening out his own cards in his hand, Clint just smirked at Kate, giving her a light nudge with his elbow.
"Ladies first, top card plays." And while this hadn't been what Clint expected to have been doing tonight, he definitely wasn't complaining.
