Since Jeremy and Elena were in the process of selling the house, it was time for Jeremy to move in with Myrcella and Irisa. He’d been wanting to move in with his girlfriend for a while now, but he hadn’t wanted to leave Jenna by herself after Katherine had left. But now that Jenna had left too, there was nothing keeping him from moving in with Myrcella. Living with Myrcella would also give him the chance to get to know Irisa better since he’d really only met his girlfriend’s best friend a handful of times.
He also had an idea to teach Myrcella some self defense techniques that he’d learned in the dreams as a Hunter. He hadn’t brought it up to Myrcella yet, but he planned to soon.
Myrcella couldn’t have been more excited about Jeremy moving in, she’d wanted him to live with her since her Uncle had given her the house but had been understanding when he couldn’t. Now however he was and she was practically bouncing in anticipation. She’d been up late baking because she hadn’t been able to sleep.
Now she was just waiting for him to arrive, she wasn’t sure if he’d hired a van or tried to fit everything into his car.
Since they still had the house for the time being, Jeremy wasn’t planning on moving all of his stuff at one time; mostly just his clothes and school stuff and his playstation. Anything else he’d go back for later. For now, he packed up his car and headed over to Myrcella’s. He didn’t know exactly where his stuff was going to go, but seeing as how her uncle and his fiance had shared the room that was now Myrcella’s and would soon be theirs, there had to be enough room for two people’s clothes.
Reaching the house, he pulled his car into the driveway, just outside the garage door and got out, heading towards the door and knocked as he opened it to alert Myrcella to the fact that he was there and at the same time, alerting Myrcella’s dog who came running towards him.
There was definitely room in Myrcella’s room, now their room, she had made sure he would have enough space for everything and assumed the larger items he wanted to bring they could work out where to put together.
Myrcella wasn’t far behind the dog, who still thought itself a puppy, and grinned brightly, “Welcome home” she said moving to hug and kiss him.
Jeremy smiled as he saw Myrcella and returned both the hug and kiss then pulled back, smiling, “Welcome home. I like the sound of that.” Myrcella’s place had already felt like a second home to him for some time now and now it was to be his actual home. As he smiled at her, the dog pawed at him, wanting some attention too, which made Jeremy laugh and release his girlfriend so that he could pet the dog, “Someone else is excited about me moving in too it would seem.”
“You’ll be hearing it a lot more” she told him with a smile before he released her and she laughed, “Of course he is. You have a whole house of excited people. Irisa probably won’t hug you or want petting though” she teased.
“I like hearing it, so I’m okay with that.” Jeremy said, smiling as he continued petting the dog until he ran off back into the kitchen and Jeremy stood up again, chuckling, “I would hope she doesn’t want petting. At least not from me.” That would just be weird. “So, wanna help me bring my stuff in?” He gestured towards the door.
Myrcella laughed as that image filled her head, “Of course” she said moving outside with him, “I’ve cleared space in the wardrobe and drawers” she told him as they began unloading.
“Great. Hopefully all my things will fit.” While packing Jeremy had gotten rid of some things; clothes he hadn’t worn in years and lots of papers from High School. Considering how much he’d skipped school, he’d actually acquired quite a lot of school work. A lot more than he’d thought was possible. “Do your parents know that I’m moving in?” He had a feeling that even at eighteen, Myrcella’s mother wouldn’t exactly appreciate her daughter living with a boy.
Myrcella nodded, "Kind of. I told dad who is handling mum. But we're to ignore her calls for a week or so just to give her a chance to cool down" Myrcella may not think much of her father but he did come in handy and let her live her life.
Jeremy couldn’t help but laugh as they brought the first of his things upstairs to their room, “What’s to stop her from hopping on a plane and showing up? She wasn’t very happy the last time she found me in your bed and nothing had happened that time.” They were still only friends then, just after Jeremy’s parents had died and he was grieving and had showed up at her door in the middle of the night.
"Tommen has her passport for me just in case she did get that bright idea" Myrcella told him with a cheeky grin, "I thought she might too. She just needs to chill out and realise I'm an adult now"
“Hopefully she realizes it soon.” She might have been Myrcella’s mother, but he didn’t want a surprise visit from her. That would put a damper on things. “So, you’re sure that we won’t start hating each other after a while now that we’ll be living together? Start to find out that we do things that annoy each other?” He smirked at Myrcella as he put down the box he’d been carrying.
“She will. Really, don’t worry about it” Myrcella told him, smiling as she moved forward to wrap her arms around his waist, looking up at him, “Nope. I am confident nothing you do would ever make me hate you, I love you far too much for that” she leaned up to press a kiss to his lips.
Jeremy smiled and brought his hands up to cup her face as he kissed her back, “Good. Cause that’d suck.” Ever since he’d been able to manage the Hunter instincts, the nightmares and stake making in the middle of the night had all but subsided so it was less likely that Myrcella or Irisa would find him in the middle of the night, making stakes out of the dining room chairs. “Now lets go get the rest of my stuff before we get distracted.”
