Learning things wasn't exactly a problem for Emma, she could get through that. It was focusing on something long enough and staying in the one place enough to form the connection and learn. She was pretty sure she'd be able to give it her all in learning music, it seemed fun and something she would rather like to be able to do. And she'd certainly found a teacher with enough patience to put up with her tangent jumps.
"That's far too obvious, I wouldn't go for that." Even if the teasing tended to be at her expense, she could kind of see why. She just needed to relax, not get so wound up and leap forward. Carrying on the motions to work on the keys, pretty sure she just needed to get herself into a rhythm, Emma nodded a little.
"So I can sticker that one up like this? Probably not exactly like this," even she might have trouble keeping a straight face long enough to buy animal stickers. "I'll get easy peel ones that can come off." And a little booklet to get her habitual impatience on with? Brilliant. She could confuse herself one afternoon and then weep for not listening before returning to the set instructions.
"Conversation has never really been something I've failed at. Awkward conversation is something I excel at." Maybe not always when she was also attempting to use her hands to do something without looking, but hey, she'd learned to touch type, it was similar enough. "I'm just giving you fair warning on that one."
