Troy frowned listening to her, but nodded in agreement. There was no point in arguing against this Doctor right now, as far as Troy was concerned, he wasn't real and it was all just a crazy coincidence. Maybe he'd allow himself some time to be crazy and think it was all some sort of government conspiracy; otherwise, he really had no idea what was going on at all. Still, he didn't want to argue and say 'get away from him', because it was a dream, so there was no reason to run from anyone.
"He suffers, yes, but that suffering is caused by his own decisions. Which is a terrible thing, I know, but at the same time? He knows that his decisions cause these things, and while it's for the greater good, he knows that he is put in harm's way, which also means he knows that those that travel with him are also put in harm's way. Yes, there are reasons for what he does, and it's understandable, but that doesn't make it right Clara."
He then frowned, when she mentioned that she trusted him, "He will, until he lets you make the decision to let yourself die... because he has Clara. I've seen them happen. Companions make a sacrificial choice, and he doesn't always stop them. Sometimes he tries to convince them, but lets them go anyway...."
Troy shook his head and laughed as he laid back against the chair, "I'm keeping you up, discussing fantasy and science fiction, as if they have any real hold on our lives. I'm being selfish this evening. Go, you go on, you should get some sleep."
