It seemed only natural to have a key to Troy's flat as he had one to hers. After he had started coming around more (and the fact that apparently leaving one's door unlocked in the midst of a crime wave was not a good idea), it had just made sense that he have one. She tended to flit from flat to flat between Troy, John and her own. Never could stay alone too long it seemed.
"Beat me to it, did you?" Because after the conversation through text, Clara had been prepared to make tea once she arrived. In fact, it was going to follow the specific order of hug Troy, then put on a pot for tea. Seemed she didn't have to do that second part. Instead, she just went to Troy, hugged him and then went to make her tea. Oh, she could tell that something was troubling Troy, that much was clear, it was in his eyes. She could read him quite well, even if he didn't like admitting it. For now she'd take her cues from him, though.
Tea made and back to the living room, Clara curled up in the corner of the couch (which seemed to be her favourite position when having talks) and nodded.
"Like I said, I'd been up reading so it's fine. But it would only be fair turn about. I'll hold you to it."
Not that Clara could see any need for it. Orange County was showing though that anything could happen, so she might as well accept it. "Not like you need much reason to come visit."
Sipping her tea, Clara watched Troy over the top of her cup. Mostly seeming okay, but he was avoiding sleep. He'd said he'd wanted to see her despite the hour, which translated into something was troubling him. It was a similar look in his eyes as she'd noticed with John as of late. Or at least, part of it, the part not brooding because he was alone.
