Who: Talibrations. What: The aftermath of this. It's probably Shepard's fault. Where: Their house. When: Saturday night. Rating: TBD. Status: In progress.
To Tali's credit, she was doing very well with the not freaking out. She'd managed to tone it down to just kind of pacing around the living room. Repeatedly. Most other people would be... actually, she had no idea what most other people would be, since she'd never really thought about it before. And how many people got a proposal via text message?
Text message. Lord, she was never ever ever ever going to let that one go. This was all Shepard's fault, too, since it had started out with her mock-proposal and then her asking Garrus if he'd mind. Then there had been a counter-proposal, and it had been playful, and then it was suddenly not so playful. To be fair, it was something she'd thought about, but hadn't wanted to say anything for fear of scaring him away. Apparently he'd been thinking the same thing. And there had been ring shopping, which had taken her off-guard. By the time she'd really processed what had happened, he was on his way home and she was trying not to be a complete jittery mess. This was exciting and downright terrifying at the same time.
She just hoped he got home before she burned a hole in the floor with her pacing.
