Anna moved over the first weekend of the month. Well, the last and first day of the month. And Myrcella said she would bring coffee over when she came to visit. Anna couldn’t very well say no to that, now, could she?
Anna was curled up on the sofa in the living room with a book, twirling a strand of red hair between her fingers as she read. She wasn’t paying attention to the time, and had completely lost track of the world as she turned the pages. It was a really good book.
Myrcella had felt bad she hadn’t been able to help her friend move but she’d had a shift at the bookshop and an assignment which absolutely had to be in by Monday. But she always planned on making it up to her.
Which she was doing now, with sparkling caramel coffee and a chocolate melt cookie. Because they should treat themselves every now and then and they needed to celebrate Anna’s moving. Knocking on the door she waited for her friend to answer.
Myrcella had done so many wonderful things for Anna, the redhead didn't mind that her friend wasn't there on the actual moving day. Anna had her super strong boyfriend and supernaturally strong friend Caroline who did most of the work, so Anna and Elsa could have tea and supervise. Other friends came and went, too. It was a good day.
And she was mostly unpacked and organized now, so that was good, too.
Anna jumped up at the sound of the knock, then put her bookmark in her book and crossed the room to answer it. "Hey! Gosh, what time is it? I got lost in a book!"
Myrcella was glad Anna had lots of people to help, boyfriends, friends and family. Moving was definitely more fun with a group of people.
“Oh don’t worry. I am a few minutes early, instead of getting the bus Jeremy dropped me off” she smiled. Myrcella had taken driving lessons with her Uncle but not actually taken her test yet. She was a little nervous to do so. She still found the roads here big and scary. “I brought coffee and cookies”
“Oh, you’re my absolute favorite.” Anna said, excitedly. She pulled the door open so Myrcella could come in, and then closed it behind her. “Come on in! I’ll tell you all about my book,” she grinned, playfully (teasing, she wasn’t going to make her friend listen to her babble about her book!) and motioned toward the kitchen. “Shall we start the tour?”
Myrcella laughed, “I like being told that” she teased entering the house. Rolling her eyes amusedly at her friends own teasing. “Yes, please. I can’t wait to see it all” she said bouncing a little.
“Okay!” Anna looped her arm through Myrcella’s, and led her through the three-bedroom apartment, showing off the kitchen, living room, hallway, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Of course, she didn’t open Caroline or Lexi’s doors. They ended up in Anna’s new room.
“Isn’t it fun?” Anna asked, moving over to sit on the edge of her bed. It was the big one that Hans bought for her.
“It’s wonderful” Myrcella nodded, glad it already seemed homely and Anna was at home in it, “I’m so glad you aren’t living alone now Anna. It’s nice having someone there when you get home”
“It’s only been a few days so far, but I’m really having a good time. Not that I’m home all that often? But it’s kinda nice to know that I’ve got strong, independant, capable women living in my house with me.” She grinned. “I’m much more comfortable here. I feel safe.”
“Feeling safe is definitely good” Myrcella nodded, “I felt okay before with the pup but with Irisa living with me I feel a lot better. She’s very talented in all kinds of fighting skills” While Myrcella was more a pacifist.
“I know what you mean. Caroline is super strong and protective.” Anna always felt safe when she was around Caroline. “And Lexi is wonderful, too. I’m really lucky to have such great friends.” She beamed brightly.
“Well I am very glad for that because you are a lovely friend to have yourself” Myrcella smiled brightly, “Now cookie time and you can tell me everything else that has been happening”
“Yes! Cookies!” Anna grinned, climbing up off the bed to head into the kitchen for cookies and milk.
