Exhausted, Thor stood in front of the automatic sliding doors of the supermarket, wondering why he came here now instead of waiting for a day off. Eventually it sank in that there was nothing in his refrigerator at home and his next free day wouldn't be for another three, which meant he came here today and spent about a hundred dollars and change on what he needed, or he could wait three days and spend money he shouldn't ordering food before spending a hundred dollars and change.
In about three months, Thor would finally break even with his financial issues, no longer skirting the balance line and when that happened and he had money to spend without feeling guilty, he didn't know what he'd do. In three months, Thor would finally be finished with one of his loans and with only one to worry about, there was going to be less strain on his wallet. About a year and a half after that, Thor would be completely paid off and he would be able to possibly move into a house and get out of his ridiculously small apartment.
Until then, here he was, standing in one of the aisles literally calculating items down to exact tax to keep himself within his allotted budget for the week. His mental calculations were thrown off by a feminine voice. Looking up, he saw a petite blonde surveying the nearly empty shelves in front of her. From where he was standing, there were a few things that had been pushed towards the back on the top shelf, something Thor could see, but he doubted the woman could. "There's a couple on the top," he commented, stifling a yawn as he shuffled over. "Want me to get them?"
