Troy only smiled at Daniel's discussion, nodding his head while the line continued to move, hands resting inside of his pockets while watching Daniel speak. Nodding a few times in understanding or appreciation for what was being said, before finally shrugging, "Right, well first off I've been to the north and a beautiful countryside it is. Even if you live miserably wet lives up there; then again, I studied at Cambridge where a little black rain cloud persisted for my entire tenure there."
Waving it off, Troy shook his head with a bit of a laugh, and nearing the counter placed an order for a simple hot tea, then stepped out of the line after paying before turning back to Daniel, while the tea was being made, "Yes, most of my closest family is here too. I suppose when you're used to the rainy climate all the time, the next best idea is a beautiful sunny day, and well no better place for that than California. Still, it is a bit odd. And don't worry about not fitting in, I never really get the sense anyone here fits in quite properly."
Looking around, Troy just furrowed his brows, "Everyone here has a bit of an agenda, and I assure you that I don't say that with disdain, but LA does feel like a town where you come when you have to get away, and want to start new, or start something at least."
