You..you're afraid of me Who: Zuko, Mai, Ty Lee, Azula What: Dream Aftermath, FEELS When: Uh, right after this dream log Where: Iroh's Condo, also a suite in London Ratings/Warnings: R, mostly for nakedness and not really glossed foreplay. Status: Complete!
Zuko woke up on the couch in the common area of his uncle's apartment where he'd started sleeping after the first few days of staying with Mai. Mostly to avoid getting cut. He rubbed at his eyes, sitting up and staring at the wall in a reflective sort of shock. He glanced at the clock, it wasn't quite midnight yet. He felt raw.
Across the continent and even an ocean, Azula's eyes snapped open. They darted around as she struggled to figure out where she was and why she was naked. And who the warm body was next to her. Sense returned to her, and the two worlds became separate in her mind. She shook Ty Lee's shoulder.
In Zuko's bedroom, Mai creaked her eyes open and gazed up at the ceiling. She had no idea what the hell kind of place she'd been in or why they all had this need to wear red all the time there. She felt like her emotions had just been put through the ringer. Actual tears blinked out of her eyes. Some small part of her wished that Zuko was in bed with her, even though she'd been the one to kick him out.
Over in London, Ty Lee's lips smacked together in her sleep. She had the most cheerful expression on her face, and mumbled, "Soo... smoootheed," as she woke up. There were a few moments where she was expecting there to be a smooth stone in her hand, and she actually looked disappointed when she realised it was gone and she was back in her hotel room instead of at the beach.
Zuko swung his feet off the couch and buried his face in his hands. How could two worlds so different have so many parellels? COULD he find happiness at his father's side? Did he even want to try any more?
Azula stroked Ty Lee's cheek in place of the stone, and even gave her a brief, soft smile. It faded, however, "You dreamed of the beach too?"
It was stupid to cry about it, really. Mai didn't want to cry. In the dream, she hadn't, even when she'd mentioned what her life was like. That hadn't even been that big of a confession. Zuko's had been worse. She rolled out of bed with a groan, and looked around the bedroom. It was probably time for another painkiller anyway, but there was nothing to take it with. She pulled on a robe and started padding out to the kitchen.
"It was so wonderful..." Ty Lee purred, and rubbed her face against Azula's, before blinking her eyes a few times, "... well no, it wasn't. A lot of horrible things were said. But I felt so relieved afterwards, like we all knew eachother so much better."
Zuko looked up when Mai padded in, and wiped at his cheeks. He wondered if she'd dreamed about it as well, or if her sleep had been undisturbed. He wondered how she'd feel about it, if she had, "Hey."
"Circus freak," Azula intoned, though her eyes were elsewhere. In many things that Azula said, there was often a lie. When she said she didn't care that her mother thought she was a monster, there'd been a lie. Of course she cared.
"Hey," her sharp eyes caught his movement, and she wondered if they'd somehow shared that dream. She walked over to him, and tilted his face up with her good hand, trying to read it with her eyes. Like in the dream, her expression was completely unguarded. She was concerned, and loved him, and both things were obvious.
"It's a complement," Ty Lee murmured, tilting her head to the side and regarding Azula carefully. Azula had looked haunted and hurt, and she didn't for one moment believe that anything else was true. She frowned, "You aren't a monster, Azula."
"Good sleep? Or restless sleep?" His way of asking if she'd dreamed. He wasn't sure if she wanted to talk about it, or not. And if they'd shared it... His eyes roamed from Mai's face to his phone, as if expecting a call.
A call that would come soon enough, but not just yet. Azula looked for a moment visibly shaken to hear that word come out of Ty Lee's mouth, "I.. I am one. I know it. I shoot fire and lightning and I enjoy hurting people."
"Wierd sleep," Mai admitted, then frowned a bit, and brushed her thumb across his cheek, "I dreamed about a beach. We were all there. I'm kind of hoping we were drunk."
The look on Azula's face was somewhat heartbreaking, and Ty Lee sat up in bed to put an arm around her. She didn't believe for a second that Azula was really a monster, deep down inside, "You're good inside. Your mother may not have seen that, but I do."
"We weren't," Zuko replied, leaning into the touch just a little bit. "We were sober. Emotional. Angry. I wonder if the others dreamed that too."
"I'm not good." Azula shook her head, looking away from Ty Lee, then getting out of the bed. She walked over to the window and opened it, not caring that she was nude. She wrapped her arms around herself and almost looked vulnurable. Almost, "I don't understand what you actually see in me. I want to be angry with you."
In the dream she'd tried so hard to hide..everything. But she was younger there. She was older now. She wasn't sure if that made everything easier or harder. She had wanted Ty Lee but couldn't allow herself to have her. She had to be so perfect, "Fucking Zuko.."
"You were angry. I was behaved and composed," Mai smirked a bit, then bent down and kissed him. She didn't really care if the others had the dream. She'd realised something in it that was only important to her and Zuko. If he'd dreamed it, too, there was no point in hiding that.
Over in London, Ty Lee was sitting on the bed, looking at Azula's very naked backside. It was kind of distracting her from the conversation at large, and she tried to focus, "Well I don't think you should be angry with me. Zuko, maybe... he was making us all angry. But all I ever did was love you. I see you. Don't be angry about that."
"Composed?" Zuko had a distinct recollection of Mai actually yelling. It had been a wonderful display of passion and had helped temper his own..temper. A little bit. He put his hand over Mai's on his cheek, then turned his face to kiss her palm. When she bent down to kiss him, he accepted the kiss a little greedily, like a dehydrated man offered water.
"Because you see me. The way no one else has. The imperfections and the..." Azula trailed off. A harsh blue glow illuminated her skin as she played with a flame, "Father still hasn't called me. I haven't even heard from Mother and you'd think..."
She'd been joking about being composed, but that didn't matter. She was going to prove to him that she was neither passionless nor pasty and grey. In fact, if he was willing to do all the work, he was getting laid this evening. She tugged on his arm to try and pull him up off the couch. Iroh, meanwhile, walked into the living room, then blinked, and walked right back out.
The blue flame illuminating Azula's body was dazzling, and did absolutely nothing keep Ty Lee from being distracted. Discipline and focus kept her from springing off the bed at her and pouncing her right there, "... You know your Mother isn't right, though... you know that, right?"
She'd been in more touch with Iroh than Azula had, it seemed.
Fortunately, Zuko hadn't noticed his Uncle. He was too busy getting to his feet and sliding his hands down Mai's back, while still drinking in her kisses. Any desire to call his sister or Ty Lee evaporated as he lifted Mai up, so that her feet barely brushed the ground.
Azula turned her torso, which only served to cast more of her in that dazzling blue glow. It gave her face a hard edge to it, the shadows doing more to bring out the pain than anything else, "She hates me. She hates me like Ozai hates Zuko."
Ozai. Not father. Ozai. The slip went unnoticed by her, "I'm a terrible person. I manipulate, I twist words around, I say hurtful things. I mean hurtful things. Princess Azula is just as bad. Zu zu drones on and on about honor and love and needing his father, and I'm the one stuck at Ozai's side, being mommy's monster and Daddy's perfect little clone."
Somewhere, across the world, Zuko was pulling his love closer, while Azula struggled to not push hers away.
And Ty Lee wasn't having it. She wouldn't be pushed away. Not unless she wanted to be. Not unless her fear of Azula outweighed her love for her. Today, it didn't. Today, Azula needed her.
She got up from the bed finally, picked up a nearby robe, and walked over to Azula carefully. The robe was draped around her shoulders, though Ty Lee was careful of the fire still burning in Azula's hand.
"Azula," she said, with as gentle a tone as she could muster, "She doesn't hate you. She doesn't hate anyone. She doesn't even know the world exists anymore. She's not ... right. In her head. I thought you knew."
Azula didn't know what would happen the day Ty Lee's fear won. She didn't want to force that to happen, but change comes slowly, especially for someone like her. She couldn't predict what might hurt the deceptively perceptive girl.
Her hand closed slowly around the flame until it snuffed out, "That's not.." Her voice rose, "No one told me. Why didn't Zuko tell me?"
"I don't think Zuko wants to admit it, either. If he admits it, then it might be real," Ty Lee frowned, and wrapped the robe around her more fully now that the flame was out. She followed the robe-wrapping by wrapping her arms around the other woman, too, and rested a cheek against her.
"As for your father, I don't... I mean I do. I kind of get it. My family will probably never accept me now. I understand a little better why you were..." she didn't want to say afraid, Azula would bridle at the word, "... hesitant to come out. But it might be that he's just putting out fires now, and waiting to see what happens next."
Azula's voice was soft, and tinged with disdain, "Your family are fools. Like I was." She turned in Ty Lee's arms and pressed her lips into the acrobat's hair. This was a conversation that Azula didn't want to actually have, but they were having it. Was Ursa simply the first victim of their family's issues?
For that matter what had happened to her in the dream world? She simply wasn't around. Wasn't even a factor, despite her own anger. They'd talked like she was dead.
In that other place, Ursa was simply gone. She hadn't been a factor anymore, and Ty Lee thought that perhaps that was why she'd been so disraught over the fact that Zuko had burned the painting. It was one of the only things of hers he'd had left, and he'd burned it. She knew him. She knew why he did it. But she still didn't think it was for the best.
"I love you, Azula. I believe it will be okay. It has to be. It'll all work out, even if my family hates me. Even if your father cuts you off. I didn't... want to be the person responsible for that, but I am. So we'll find a way to be happy anyway, if it happens. Maybe it won't. Maybe you should call him..."
Azula hadn't understood how Ty Lee had known him. She'd felt unreasonably jealous and had hidden it under her barbs and her looks, as she always did.
"Mai and I took..contingencies, in case I was cut off. We won't be homeless. With enough income we can even keep the condo." Which, oddly enough, was more painful for her to lose than her father. She didn't have her issues with daddy's love that Zuzu had.
Her mother on the other hand was an entirely different matter, "I need to call Zuko. Ask him about mother. If she really is going I should.."
Ty Lee kissed her cheek, "I'll get you the phone. Do you want to be alone?"
She could understand how this might be a phonecall that she didn't want to make while other people, even her, were watching. There was a part of her that thought she'd earned the right to see Azula in that vulnerable of a state, but she didn't want to assume, either. With Azula, it was always a better idea to be sure.
She went and got the phone off the nearby table, and brought it to her.
She followed Ty Lee with her eyes, appraising the way the morning sun looked on her skin as it filtered in through the shades. The gymnast's body, lean and athletic, the curve of breasts as Ty Lee turned back to her.
Azula could have used it as an excuse, and a wonderful excuse at that, to avoid calling Zuko. Instead she took the phone, and dialed. She let the robe fall open and pulled Ty Lee against her. The skin contact was exciting. And reassuring.
Across the world Zuko's phone rang.
For Ty Lee's part, she mostly tried to stay still and be of some comfort, instead of a very sexy distraction. This phone call really needed to happen, and she didn't want to get in the way of that.
The phone was ringing at the Iroh residence. Mai glanced at it from where she lay in bed, quite naked, and groaned. Her and Zuko were in the middle of something, damn it. Azula - it had to be Azula - chose the worst possible times.
Well, she could be a very sexy distraction anyway. Any other night and Azula would troll her brother by suggestively pushing Ty Lee's head down. This wasn't any other night, though she filed that idea away for another time.
Zuko was busy, in a very nice position right now making sure Mai was good and ready. He couldn't answer the phone. Not even for Azula. Except that was Azula's ringtone. And if she was calling it was probably important. He groaned.
Mai glanced at the phone as it kept on ringing, wondering why it was that Zuko had set the ringtone to Lady Gaga. She wasn't even sure which song it was, but it sounded like her. She glanced down at Zuko, who was snacking on her thigh, "You gonna get that?"
Zuko shot a look up at Mai, that very clearly spoke volumes as to how he felt about interuppting this time. He was determined to take advantage of the left over feelings from the dream and the softness in Mai's eyes was making him feel melty.
In response to that look, Mai reached her hand over to the phone and hit the button that sent the call directly to voice mail. If it was that big of an emergency, Princess Piss and Moan could call back.
Giving her a wicked grin, Zuko kept his eyes locked on hers as resumed his nibbling. He wanted to see her face.
Azula was staring at her phone like it had just insulted her, "It went to voice mail. That bastard!"
Irritated, she almost through the phone - or did worse to it- but instead took a deep breath, and tried again.
Zuko twitched, "Oh come on Azula!"
In London, Ty Lee rubbed her hand against Azula's back, soothingly.
In California, Mai looked at the phone and twitched a bit, as well. Then she picked it up, shoved Zuko's face back between her legs, and answered it, "Hey."
Zuko was all for this plan, and wondered how long it would take for Mai to lose her composure. Lets find out.
On the other line, Azula scowled. That wasn't Zuko's voice. That wasn't Zuko's voice at all! She felt...jealous? Maybe not that word. Something. She felt something and it irritated her. So she snapped, "Where's Zuko?"
"He's kind of busy right now, Princess Fire Lady. I can take a message if you want," Mai's tone was her usual even, emotionless tone, though her face was anything but. She chewed her lip a bit, biting back a moan before it could reach the speaker on the telephone.
Zuko grinned up at her adoringly.
Azula felt an eye twitch, and if Mai was there she'd be glaring. Her back tensed, "Did you have any dreams? Where we were all... talking. Expressing ourselves."
Mai winked down at him, which was not a cue for him to stop at all. She was enjoying this far, Far too much.
"Your mom thought you were a monster, Circus Freak is a complement, and Zuko is angry about everything. Right. We're all so smoothed now. Ty Lee will remember this dream forever."
"Probably." There was a momentary fond note to Azula's voice, as she trailed the back of her hand down Ty Lee's cheek. The words proved harder to come than she thought, and rather than have a falst start or broken words, she was silent for a long moment.
That silence ended, "I need to talk to him about Ursa."
That clammed Mai right up. Azula never talked about her mother, and never, ever, called her by name. She eyed Zuko, who was still in a very, very happy place and really felt bad for having to disturb him at this moment. It wasn't even a selfish thing, though she was also in a very happy place.
She frowned, and her tone got more serious, "Hold on."
She put Azula on mute, then tapped her finger against Zuko's head,"I'm sorry. But you want to take this."
"God damn it." Zuko shifted up next to Mai, taking the phone. He didn't gripe much more than that because the look on her face was a little worrisome. He took the phone off mute and said, "This better be good, Azula." He'd worry about how the three of them had shared a dream. And Ty Lee probably had as well. Also, now was probably not a good time to remember how bendy Ty Lee could get.
Azula exhaled angrily, nearly singing Ty Lee as blue flame erupted from her nose. She thought of calming things, to stop the churning in her gut, and her nails dug into Ty Lee's backside. She belatedly remembered the kind of outfit Ty Lee wore at the Olympics, and loosened her grip. She'd been careful not to leave any marks since she'd effectively moved Ty Lee into her suite, and it wouldn't do to start right now.
Her voice was tight, and strained, though she attempted to sound flippant. As though this didn't matter, "It's about Ursa. Ty Lee says she's not well."
As Zuko took the phone, Mai sat upright and draped herself against his back in a silent show of support. She didn't know what was up really, but Zuko and his mother had been close before. She wanted to do whatever she could.
Over in London, Ty Lee ducked her head away before the breath of fire singed some of her hair off. The fingernails added an extra layer of general worry for Azula, and herself. Obviously her lover was very upset, and she wasn't sure what she could do to calm her. She tried rubbing Azula's back a bit, slowly.
Zuko found himself leaning back against Mai, drawing strength from her as his insides froze a little. His mother was..their mother was..why was Azula asking this? Why now? Why did it take a fucking dream for her to show even the slightest interest in Ursa's well being?! "She's well, Azula. She's just..distant. She's not always there. She didn't take the divorce well. She hasn't been the same since."
"What do you mean 'not always there.'" His sister narrowed her eyes, "Why wasn't I told?"
"I didn't think you'd care Azula. You never cared before. Why start now? Why should it take a dream for you to be a human being for once?!"
I'm trying! Azula wanted to scream it. She could barely keep the coolness in her voice, "Maybe if you took your head out of father's ass you'd see more than his colon."
"Clever, did it take all night for you to think of that one?"
Azula replied haughtily, "Longer than it took for you to realize I was with Ty Lee."
"I had her first." As soon as he realized what he said, he shot Mai a look as it to beg her to not stab him until after he tried to explain.
Stabbing Zuko wasn't even the first thought that came to Mai's mind. The first thoughts were things like, 'WHY?', 'HOW COULD YOU--', and 'WHEN!?'.
She was hurt, deeply hurt, and it showed on her face. She slid off the bed, and headed out of the room to breathe.
God damn it. Zuko reached for her arm. He couldn't even tell her it had been after they'd broken up the first time. And that he suspected it had happened in dream land as well.
That would probably get him stabbed.
Azula was dead silent, complete shock on her face. It was the sort of silence that generally preceeded a storm. That storm was rolling across Azula's eyes, and a visible crackle of lightning ran down her arm. Her voice was raw, angry and hurt, "You had Ty Lee first"
"It was after Mai and I broke up a few years ago. She tried to comfort me and..."
His hand caught Mai's arm, and that's when she got the knife out. She glared at him and threatened him with it so that he'd let go, though she never got near him with it and probably couldn't summon the urge to cut him, even now.
By Azula, Ty Lee saw the lightning crackling down her arm. The words that followed it startled her, and she started backing away.
This conversation had gone in directions Azula could never have predicted. Her anger flared up, threatening an uncontrollable inferno. The heat rose, and then fell, as Azula snapped, "I hope Mai cuts your balls off you undeserving cretin. If you ever even think about touching Ty Lee again I will slit your throat and present your ears to father as a gift."
With that, she hung up and flung her phone against the wall, shattering it. Whirling on Ty Lee, Azula looked a sight. Her hair was loose and tangled, her eyes blazing with confusion, anger and hurt. An almost pleading look. The air in the room felt charged. She looked terrifying. Beautiful. She said nothing, her last ounce of control waiting. Because Ty Lee was supposed to be hers and it had been ZUKO and there could be no worse person in all the world.
Zuko looked at his phone, then closed his eyes and took a breath, "Mai, I'm sorry. I should have told you."
The knife was still out, and Mai was still angry with him. She LOOKED angry with him, at least. She wasn't bothering with trying to hide it. It was to her credit that the knife didn't shake, that's how powerful the anger was.
Over in a suite in London, Ty Lee had managed to back herself all the way up to the wall. Azula was terrible and beautiful and terrible and so very gorgeous and she, Ty Lee, was in so very much trouble. The fear was outweighing the love, now. She wasn't even sure if there was anything she should say.
Really, Zuko wasn't entirely sure why Mai was angry. He hadn't been with her at the time and had thought that he never would be again. But sometimes this can be an irrational thing, and Zuko feared it would damage Ty Lee and Mai's friendship, "Ty Lee was just trying to help. And probably thought I'd be the closest she'd ever get to Azula. Please don't be angry with her. Direct it at me."
The word came out, and it was irrational and she hated it but there it was, hanging in the air between them, "Why?"
She was angry because he was hers. Because he was supposed to always be hers. Because he especially wasn't supposed to slink off to her much more emotionally available and cheerful best friend for comfort, as some kind of pill to combat the angst that was her. The blade in her hand began to shake, and she tossed it right past his nose, so that it went thunk into the headboard of his bed. She didn't say a word.
Ty Lee, on the other hand, was still trying to swallow her fear of Azula to say something, anything at all. Why? It was YEARS ago. She didn't even know, herself, but thin excuses weren't really going to help her here, "It was a long time ago, Azula..."
That set Zuko off, and he raised his voice, "Trust me, it wasn't her I was thinking about!"
"Why couldn't it be anyone but him?!" Azula's voice was low and raspy, and...shocked, "You..you're afraid of me."
Really, this shouldn't BE a surprise to Azula. She worked on fear so much that it was almost second nature. But seeing it in Ty Lee's eyes right this moment, was too much for her. Ursa was right she was a monster and it was a festering wound that threatened to burst open.
"Good. Because it shouldn't have been her to begin with!" Mai wrenched her arm free from his grip and stormed out of his bedroom. She needed to think. She needed some air. Uncle Iroh was probably waiting with Tea somewhere. Silly old man.
"No I..." Ty Lee trailed off, but even her voice sounded afraid, and it was truly fear that had made her want to lie about it. But it was complicated. It was because she didn't want Azula to think of herself as a scary monster that she didn't want to tell the truth. Not because she was scared of what Azula would do.
"... I'm afraid of you sometimes, but mainly I'm afraid FOR you. Afraid of what you'll do to yourself, or what you'll think that will make you maybe hurt yourself. You aren't a monster. I KNOW there's good in you. I KNOW a lot of it is complicated for you. I KNOW that--"
I know that all your life has been pain. She cut herself off before she said that, though, and instead tried to address the Zuko situation before Azula started yelling and she never got to that, "You and I were just friends then, and neither of us were thinking straight. He came to me for comfort about Mai and it got way, way out of hand. I didn't think I needed to apologize for that. You didn't love me then, and it was years ago."
"Mai...damn it." Zuko pulled a pair of pants on, and started to follow, but something made him stop. Mai needed some air, and frankly, he was a little worried about Ty Lee's safety. He picked up his phone, but Azula's number went straight to voicemail.
"You don't know anything! What I am, what I can do, the kind of person who's mother can't love her! The kind of person that gather can respect." Because with Ozai, love was simply not on the table. Azula swept her hands out dramatically, shouting, "You don't know anything because I loved you then! I loved you before and I loved you after and I loved you for so long and I hated myself for how weak you made me feel!"
Iroh had set up a tea kettle and cups on the porch. He didn't say anything, but poured Mai some and made her sit. She was still too polite to turn him down, and the tea was calming, anyway.
Ty Lee worked her jaw. She didn't know everything, that was true, because she hadn't ever known that about Azula. But if that was true, Azula should have said something a LOT sooner. The words that would have told her that didn't come out of her mouth. Instead she just stood there with her back STILL against the wall, and stared at her.
Azula's voice actually broke, "Say something!!"
"YOU should have said something! YEARS ago! Do you know how many months I spent scared to even admit how I felt about you!? Scared you wouldn't even accept that? And all of that time you loved me!" Ty Lee shouted, angrily. When she was done, she looked shocked by her own words.
"I was scared." For a moment, Azula didn't even realize that the words had come from her own mouth. They were quiet, and an admission that hadn't even occurred to herself until just this second.
"... well then you can't be angry for what happened..." Ty Lee's tone was a bit deflated that point, but she tried to sound firm.
"It's Zuko," Azula tried to explain. But Ty Lee and hate didn't really go together, and for that matter she didn't completely hate Zuko but it felt like this huge betrayal.
"He's..my brother. My blood." That didn't even really explain things in a way that made any sense. He was Zuko and that was enough to enrage Azula.
She sounded suddenly possessive, and hurt, "I thought I was the only."
"I wasn't your only... I don't get mad at you about that, not like this," the other woman frowned, and looked down at the floor, "You and I were friends, and you and Zuko didn't hate eachother as much back then. I didn't really think you'd mind."
"Mai will probably kill him," Azula muttered, as if that was the best solution. Then she approached Ty Lee, removing her robe and putting it around the other woman. She was forcing her anger elsewhere, dissipating it into the air around them. She'd promised Ty Lee she'd..try, and warned her it wouldn't be easy. Azula was as selfish, condescending power hungry bitch, but those rare times she promised something and actually meant it? She actually meant it.
That Ty Lee was still scared of her like this was also bit like being punched in the gut, so her touch was gentle, though not hesitant.
"It hurts more than it should. I'm...." It was a word that did not come naturally to Azula, like so many others, "I'm sorry."
Ty Lee had heard few apologies from Azula. They were rare, like precious gems, and she absolutely didn't want to ruin the moment they created with words. She pulled Azula against her, instead, and kissed her. She felt like she had something to prove, and she wanted to prove it. Zuko had only been a momentary step in her life. They were still close, but she didn't love him, not in a way that had anything to do with relationships.
She loved Azula, and she was going to make sure the other woman knew it.
There was no flinching, like Azula had feared. She pulled the other woman closer, something warm and wet on her cheeks. She felt like every other day they took a one step back and two forward.
Ty Lee's phone rang.
It rang, and went to voice mail.
Zuko stared at his phone then started txting Ty Lee.
>> Are you all right? >> Did she hurt you? >> I'm sorry it just slipped out >> Please be okay >> I never know what to think with her and you >> I don't want her to hurt you.
Zuko had absolutely fucking terrible timing. Ty Lee had been about to kiss Azula. The beeps went off on her phone so many times that she wondered if Jubliee was having some sort of spazz fit, or maybe her bracelet stopped working or something. She held up a finger as if to say, 'hold that thought', and went to check her text messages.
>> She's hurt. >> I'm fine. >> Dealing with this now
>> Okay >> Just checking >> Giving Mai some space
Azula folded her arms impatiently.
>> Going now >> Don't get stabbed.
With that, Ty Lee shut her phone OFF, and guided Azula off to bed.
Azula pushed the robe off Ty Lee and threw it aside. It was less like chewing glass now and more like swallowing a large pill, but she whispered, "I love you."
She wondered what else the dreams would bring, and dreaded whatever led to her downfall.
"I love you, too," Ty Lee whispered. And then, she proceeded to take several hours to show her with more than words.
