Even a few hours away from the tension the crime wave was causing would be a welcomed relief. She wasn't even thinking about the poem or hang ups, which was a relief. There was so much going on that taking time to just breathe? Well it was needed. And the view of the park Percy had picked? Even better. Between the atmosphere and clouds, the display promised to be a good one that evening. Doing what she could to help with the set up, Marguerite then sat next to Percy on the blanket, watching the ocean for a bit before she heard his question.
"You did very well. Not that I didn't think you would." Smiling, she leaned over and kissed his cheek before looking at the different things he had brought. It was generic picnic, yet also enough to be Valentine's Day. Meaning, its as them. Which was all she could ever hope for.
She had meant it when she had told Armand that what she felt for Percy was more than she had ever felt for anyone. Even in all the madness that came with Orange County and the Dreams, he made sense of her chaos, the never ending energy and thoughts and feelings that resided within her. It was a balance she had never really thought possible. Even in the dreams... it had been so strong there, yet stronger here.
Absently, she fiddled with the necklace around her neck, the one with the ring that had shown up from the Dreams. Now especially it grounded her. For once, she truly felt at peace, she felt calm.
