She smiled up at him, appreciating how kind he was to her as she had a run in with quite a couple of people not being very kind to her; Most likely because of her accent and the fact that her parents had money as to which both weren't her fault. She shook herself from her thoughts and brought her hands to the book in front of her, slowly turning the cover over ready to start on the session.
She thought about it for a moment and gave him a short nod. "Mostly," she smiled. Mary giggled at his next comment. "I don't think they're strange," she shook her head. "Most are easy to understand but there are quite a few who talk very fast that is hard to understand. Not to mention some of the words used here have different meanings back home," she finished, grinning back at him.
