She looked up at him as he walked alongside her companionably, raising her eyebrows. Jesus, when he was standing next to her, he really was tall. She only just came up to his shoulder, which made her feel a lot smaller than usual. The offer of a coat was one she'd usually turn down but he then started to talk before she could even try to, so she took it and pulled it on, despite it being almost comically too large for her. She would have said thank you or something, but perhaps there wasn't much of a need to right now. However, she stepped slightly closer to him - whether it be subconsciously or consciously - to try and sap a bit more of his warmth.
"Cycling and hiking is always fun. When I have spare time I do like hiking and I've been mountain biking a couple of times. Not such a fan of the latter but I love finally getting to the top of a horrible hill and being able to just sit and watch the sun set. Then realise you have to walk back down said horrible hill in the dark," she giggled slightly. "Maybe you should branch out into food writing or something. They always seem to be looking for writers," she shrugged a little.
It took a surprisingly short amount of time for Nano to reach her front door = apparently starbucks was closer than she remembered - and she hid a smirk in Lalna's coat as she found her keys, unlocking the front door to her flat. "So. Thanks for walking me home," she smiled sincerely, taking off his coat to hand it back to him.
