Troy almost felt bad at the silence that befell his cousin; the girl was obviously deep in thought, and she wasn't doing much to hide the fact there was something bothering her. That, though, told him all he needed to know--she didn't want to tell him, not yet anyway. She was keeping something buried, not that deep, but it was hidden as well as it could be and it was his job to be there for her even if he didn't know what it was.
When she moved to hug him, Troy returned it with arms wrapped securely around her, he hugged her tight and just sat there while she went through her thoughts and fought through what emotions she could, before pulling back when she did as well. Troy smirked at her eyes and then nodded, "Very bad thing. He'll be fine, though, stubborn as he is he isn't dumb and will know when to get something checked out."
"So, your classes, how are your students? Do they do well in literature? I figure high school is just a tiny bit more difficult to teach as not everyone in those classes want to be there."
