"You really might not. But noted. You will come over for dinner and there will be souffles involved periodically." Because who didn't love a good souffle? The kind of money that Troy was talking about though, for Clara it just seemed unfathomable. Still, so long as he wasn't going to waste away on her or anything, she wouldn't begrudge him his pride and joy.
"Yes, yes you did."
Like he was going to get out of it when he had told her he'd tell her about them. Clara was very good at remembering these sorts of things. That and she'd been promised a distraction. So while Troy discussed this planet he dreamed about, Clara was listening in rapt attention. She noted the comment about it being him but not being him, not his face at least. But really at the moment she was more interested in the planet he described. It was extremely vivid and she could almost picture it in her mind.
"It sounds that way... I can see why it would give you inspiration."
The way it was described, Clara even forgot for a moment that she had tea in her grasp. She could feel the warmth as it spread through her hands along her body, but she wasn't focused on the drink itself at the moment.
