"Well I don't know about Jammie Dodgers for lunch, I do love them a great deal, but they're not very filling. I'd be hungry for the rest of the day, or sick; I can't decide which really," Shaking his head, Troy then shrugged and went back to watching her enjoy the view and getting herself lost in thoughts. He grinned, at her question about how he ended up with the book and shook his head, "It's really nothing, but I actually saw on that American show, the terrible one about pawn shops. Pawn Stars maybe? Nevertheless, happened to hear about the show picking up the book from one of my students. They were just amazed to see such a rare book, so I decided to research and figured out where they had it and... I spent far too much money on it."
Troy winked with a chuckle, then waved it off, "I'll show it to you if you'd li--"
Interrupted by a sudden high pitched whistle, Troy held his finger up, "That'd be the tea. Let me get that started and you run on up to the study, the book is in the case behind my desk. Don't take it out of the case, not yet, it's very well kept but I still fear the spine giving loose. I don't even touch it now."
Then Troy turned and bolted down the hallway and towards the kitchen where he began to fill the mugs with the hot water.
