"It wouldn't surprise me!" Okay, so she knew that really, a large amount of people moving to one area from another would not bring the former's weather. But that didn't change the fact that snow was weird and it was an amusing image to think that they brought the snow with them. "Best not let the locals find out. They might get grumpy. But yes. The tour."
And before they could move much, they were seeing the living room. For which the introduction just caused her to duck her head and smile in amusement. Really. It was pretty easy to figure out and leave it to Troy to ramble about it. Because Troy. Which was maybe what she needed. She had noticed it with John, that when he was just him and it was familiar, she wasn't going so much through the motions as she usually was feeling.
"It's a very stealthy living room."
Grinning up at him, Clara nodded at the mention of where the kitchen was and how tea would be soon, as well as the mention about cherry turnovers, "That's perfectly fine. But really? No Jammie Dodgers? I refuse to believe that. I'll find an exchange store where they have them." Lack of Jammie Dodgers was a travesty and needed to be rectified. But for now, cherry turnovers would work.
The tour really was pretty self explanatory. Until the study turned makeshift library. First thing that caught her attention was the view. It was a really nice view and enough to lure her into the room, idly trailing her fingers along the spines of the books. It was a habit she had, but there was something about books that called to her. Head tilting to the side to read the different titles, Clara nearly missed the question about the book club.
'Hmm?" Looking back over to Troy, she blinked and registered the question. "Oh yeah, that would be fun. I'd definitely be on board for that."
