Who: Elizabeth and Leonard What: A Christmas surprise Where: Leonard’s office When: Just before Christmas Rating: High Status: Complete
Elizabeth was putting the last preparations to the little spread she’d laid out on Leonard’s desk in his office and was waiting for the knock on his office door to signal his arrival. She’d managed to convince Nina to help keep him out of his office for a while, distracting him with different tasks here, there and everywhere around the hospital until Elizabeth text her to say she was ready. Then, once she had him in here, Nina would try and keep people away from Leonard’s office while they enjoyed a little Yuletide peace.
She’d texted Nina a couple of minutes ago and was expecting them any second. Taking one last look at the food and drink, she ran a hand through her hair and fluffed it up a little, feeling very proud of what she’d accomplished. She’d worn a nice little blue dress for him which showed off her back and legs.
Turns out Nina didn’t have to do much to keep McCoy occupied. His work at the hospital was crazy busy. As it got most holidays. But she was able to intercept McCoy and keep him away from his office while Elizabeth was in there setting up. He came back, avoiding the nurses along the way, and was ready to flop down in his chair with a cup of coffee and some paperwork.
He turned the handle and pushed the door open, sighing a bit as he entered his office. But then he paused. The door open, handle in his hand, he raised an eyebrow. “Elizabeth?”
Elizabeth turned to face him in the now open doorway with brilliant smile to greet him. “Leonard,” she smiled, feeling a little nervous now he was here. She had kind of taken over his desk with the food. “Happy Christmas,” she said quietly, biting her lip and stepping aside to let him see the meal spread out on his desk behind her. “I know there’s one thing missing,” she said and fished her phone out of her bag. “But since I figured candles in a hospital would be a bad idea,” she gestured to the sprinkler on the roof. “This will have to do,” she said, showing him the screen of her phone which now showed a flickering candle on it. She turned and placed it on the table, propped up against a couple of books she’d left on the side of the table.
McCoy watched, breaking into a little smirk as she set up her phone with a candle on the screen as their centerpiece. He took a step forward, shrugging off his lab coat, and hung it on a hook by the door. “...this is amazing,” he said, softly, then moved to wrap his arms around her. “You didn’t have to go to the trouble.”
Elizabeth grinned as his arms snaked around her waist. She leant back against him and they swayed gently as she spoke. "I wanted to, you work so hard and I get the holidays off so it seemed right," she gave a little shrug, leaning back to press a kiss to his cheek. "Happy Christmas. I love you," she told him.
“I love you,” he purred back in response. “You really wanted to make this a merry Christmas, didn’t you?” It was fun that they would have a chance to be both romantic and a little sneaky. Made things a bit more exciting. “What did you make for dinner?”
“Well, it depends on you how merry we make it,” Elizabeth teased, slowly shifting her hips back against his and dropping her head back against his shoulder. “I made a turkey with all the trimmings for you. Now, I can’t guarantee what it’ll taste like but...hopefully it will meet your exacting standards,” she told him, turning her face so she could press her lips oh so slowly to the pulse beating at his throat.
Another purr escaped him. McCoy lifted his hands and ran them along her back, drawing her in closer. “...I think you’ll find my standards aren’t so exacting.” He breathed, eyes falling closed. “...are we going to eat?”
“Yes,” Elizabeth grinned slowly as she finished turning towards him, sliding her arms around him and slowly starting to untuck his shirt from the back of his trousers. “It’s up to you when though,” she looked at him from under her lashes alluringly as she softly stroked the skin she had uncovered with a single, light touch.
“I thought this was your show.” McCoy said, playfully, hands still lazily rolling up and down her back. “You’re making all the decisions here today, remember? I’m just following your lead.” He liked where this was going.
“Well then,” Elizabeth murmured, brushing her lips against his in a tease and gently running her finger just under the waistband. “I guess we’ll just have dinner then,” she purred, slowly pulling away from him, ghosting her fingers over his skin as she did. She turned to face the desk, loving the feel of his hands still on her waist and, with a sultry glance over her shoulder, she slowly leaned over the table. Her dress was quite tight and showed quite clearly that she’d foregone wearing any kind of underwear for this visit. Another tease to lure him in.
“Are you sure we have to eat first?” McCoy growled, moving forward to run his hand along her back. But then he cleared his throat. “I’m sure our food would get cold…”
“Do you care?” Elizabeth replied in a husky voice as she looked over her shoulder. She arched her back while his hand stroked along her back. She bit her lip and pressed her hips slowly back against him, his reaction to her proposition already stirring. “Doesn’t look like you do,” she teased with a pleased grin.
“No. I don’t care.” McCoy responded. His hands came to her body, and then he showed her how much he didn’t care. Though he wasn’t often one for sex on the job--he had more respect for his office than that--sometimes he couldn’t help himself. With everything that’d gone on lately, preparing for the holiday, he was glad for a release. Some time with Elizabeth was exactly what the doctor ordered.
