"Of course, I would not wish to bridge that." Taking a sip of her wine, Helena thought back to the case she was speaking of. "It was a murder, yes. It wasn't precisely obvious to me, but I am not a medical examiner. That was certainly a memorable case, I must say. Though all of them are memorable in their own ways."
It was a marvel that Helena was well-balanced mentally. Her job was never a good one. It was either depressing or horrifying or both at once. There was no middle ground in her line of work.
