First and foremost, it should be known that it wasn't exactly out of the ordinary for Obi-Wan to behave so weird. This, however, was beyond his usual unusualness. It was unnatural, even for Obi-Wan, and despite Loras' recent distractions, he could plainly hear the cries at night coming from Obi-Wan's room. He knew they had to do with those nightmares Obi had, nightmares that rattled even Loras who waited for his own, waited for the one that he dreaded the most.
After he came in from his job this morning, Loras showered, shaved, smoothed his hair back with a comb, and checked his texts to make sure Renly had checked in. After Renly's nightmare, Loras had insisted Renly text him at least three times a day to tell him he was all right. He walked to the kitchen and saw Obi leaning there against the countertop as if his own weight were too much for him to carry around. Wordless, Loras pulled open the fridge and took out the carton of orange juice. He poured a glass, returned the carton, then hopped up onto the counter to drink it.
"Are you going to tell me what's going on, or do I need to force it out of you?" he asked, half lightly. Always to the point, Loras.
