Who: Azula
What: Dreams of Ba Sing Se and flaming nets
When: Saturday Morning
Where: London
Status: Complete
Rating: PG-13
It was that little bald kid again. Aang. The Avatar. He was trying to stop the attack on Ba Sing Se, damage her drill. This wasn't going to be allowed. He was fast, fast enough that she felt a little irritated - but she also felt exhiliration. Aang was a challenge, one she meant to eliminate. And the more they fought, the more she learned about him.
Of course he learned about her. He countered every bit of flame she through against him. Until something rumbled and she realized he had only been delaying her.
Drenched in gunk, she knew she'd have to come up with a better plan.
An opportunity fell into her lap, when they faced the Kyoshi warriors. The battle was quick, even a little intense, but they'd won before the battle had started. Azula knew exactly how to get into the city.
Things become a blur. She manipulates the secret police, again, easily. The rest of this dream she remembers before. Capturing the King, battling Aang and Katara, with her bother's help. And her lightning dealing a blow to the Avatar that should have killed him.
Something else happens, but she doesn't know what it is.
Zuko is reluctant to return home, so she schemes to bring him and Mai together. It backfires.
Before she wakes, the dream shifts again. It goes back in time. She's seeing Ty Lee for the first time in years. The woman's body presses against hers when they hug and she feels a surge of something she quickly quashes, but not before a smile crosses her lips.
She wants Ty Lee to join her. She'd do anything.
A little fire beneath her act is all it takes.
Mai is easier. All it takes is offering her something to relieve her boredom.
Azula woke up, feeling warm. She glanced at Ty Lee next to her, then straddled the woman, and smirked. She had to make up for the flaming net, after all.
