Well, Tony was partly right. Bruce didn't wish he had done it. The trail had gotten to him more than he was willing to admit and sometimes he was actually convinced that he had done it. Two years of hearing nothing but 'Bruce did it, he's guilty' had kind of messed with his head.
His fists clenched closed and the look on his face was menacing. Sure, he had taken those anger management classes and cooled down a lot over the years, but Tony was really pushing it here.
"We're not talking about this," and Bruce decided he needed to get away from Tony before he did something he regretted so moved the dog from his lap and got up off the ground.
