The dreams were pretty much a plagued that had touched the lives. Almost everyone on the network spoke about them and they felt about them. It wasn’t always what people wanted to experience. It also turned out that people were different in the dreams too. Not just by the personality but what they were too. Such as they weren’t human in the dreams, sometime they were monsters. Even in their dreams they were considered monsters. It wasn’t everyone that was told about the changes to come before they even started dreaming. Someone on the network, that he had never met before, told him that he was going to be a vampire. Or that he was a vampire in her dreams. That was enough to give him a little bit of a warning to what he should expect. Still it wasn’t anything to the realization he got when he actually started having the dreams. When he started having the dreams he thought that it was a bit surreal. That it was something that felt so real. Oddly as real as real life but so different. It didn’t really start settling in with him until the dreams started flying by. It was starting to get too real to him. Way to real. Especially when he wasn’t able to see himself in the mirror. Stupidly he thought that losing his reflection would be the worst thing that happened to him because of these dreams. He was shaken when he actually had a dream that wasn’t full of bloodshed. It was actually like he found some type of happiness. Something that he didn’t think that he deserved in his dreams. Especially with everything that he did. All the bloodshed that he caused made him think that his dreams would just get worse as they went on. He didn’t expect himself to end up with two wonderful people that were willing to help him out. To help him fight the horrible nature that was his true nature apparently. Not only in the real world did he have a problem with addiction. Which made him feel kind of like that his issues were a little bit of fate. A lengthy sigh escaped his lips as he looked up at the ceiling of his bedroom. He couldn’t believe that he actually woke up from a semi good dream. He wasn’t used to that. As he was laying there was a feeling. He couldn’t exactly explain it but it was enough to get him to move out of the comfort of his bed. It was slightly like he was hungry but he never got hungry in the middle of the night. He was really good about eating at appropriate times. He walked into the kitchen and moved straight for the fridge. He opened both sides of the fridge and looked around for what he wanted to eat. Licked his lips as his gaze kept moving towards a thawing piece of steak that was meant for dinner tomorrow. Lower lip quivering as he reached out for the marinating piece of meat. Without really thinking about he grabbed the rare steak. Opening the ziplocked package that contained it and smell was intoxicated. With that he bit into the rare steak and sucked on it. It was only after that he swallowed a mouth full of the juices that his mind caught up with what his body was doing. The ziplock bag hit the floor. One. Two steps away from the ziplock and steak on the ground. Hal didn’t even look down at it. Just bolted for the bathroom where he threw up what he had just ingested. He felt sick. He couldn't believe what he had just done. It didn’t feel like it really happened. With thinking about it, he threw up again. Resting his back against the shower he started sobbing into his hands. |
