Caroline was definitely relieved that Lydia had barely noticed she was late. She seemed pretty absorbed in whatever she was doing on her phone anyways. Still the girl hated being late, at least work was a legitimate reason though. It wasn’t like her lunch with Nik a few weeks ago when she had just taken too long getting ready.
“Mango is pretty good” Caroline agreed as they entered the shop. It had been pretty clear on the net that Lydia was bothered by the whole Dream situation and what was going on with her friend, but seeing her in person, it was even more apparent. Caroline hated when anyone was upset. Especially her friends, and although Lydia and her were pretty much just acquaintances right now she definitely didn’t like seeing her upset.
“It depends. I usually go between chocolate and strawberry. Basic I know, but what can I say? I love the classics” Caroline said with a small laugh. Of course there were times where she craved something different. She did get bored with both flavors sometimes, but she always ended up going back to them.
Caroline grabbed one of the large cups, walking over to the machines to pick her flavor. “It looks like the have mango” she informed Lydia nodding towards the mango flavor before filling her own cup up with strawberry.
