Obi-Wan is aging surprisingly well (obi1) wrote in valarlogs,
On a scale of one to ten, Obi-Wan's residual anger over what had happened was still around a seven, which was higher than what made him comfortable. Anger itself was an emotion he had always felt...challenging. It wasn't his way, but still, the Jedi teaching was to release it, which he tried in earnest to learn. Instead, Obi-Wan had developed a habit of stuffing it down until it was as good as released. For a little while, at least.
So the fact that the closer he came to Anakin's room, the more his pulse seemed to thunder in his ears...well, that was something Obi-Wan found worthy of concern. Was it reasonable to still be angry, he asked himself; was it reasonable to be angry at all? Because above all things, Obi-Wan sought reason. Anakin had not gone out of his way to have an accident such as this, but Obi-Wan could not deny that he thought the boy had been reckless and foolish and even stupid, all things which he abhorred. He had twins on the way! How could he possibly have...!
