The easy part had been wrangling the twins. The hardest part had been wrangling Logan, but between Laura, Jubilee and Rogue she figured they'd get him out. Scott was easy, she just guilt tripped him.

The plan, she decided, was for everyone to just do their own thing but meet up for lunch.

"Alright, Valerie. Are we ready to have a wonderfully annoying day that will require copious amounts of alcohol to tolerate?" Emma patted Raven's hand and then winked at Scott.

She'd been interested in him since the first day she'd met him, of course, but he was the one who'd had a girlfriend and then adult responsibilities. His loss. She could make him a little jealous and enjoy her day with 'Valerie'.

His thoughts about the water amused her, though, and she smirked as she added, telepathically, And that isn't a very charitable thought. Luckily for you I'm not nearly as easy to insult as people seem to think.

	Did you? Perhaps there's only room in my life for one brunette at a time. Emma's mental tone was hard to decipher, but she screwed her lips up a bit at his mention of being a morning person, and shook her head, "And that's why it would simply never work out with us, Darling." "I suppose it is, yes." Emma replied. She dashed some imagined specs of dirt off of her sleeve so as not to have make eye contact with him any longer, and then glanced ahead. It looked like all of Kitty's guests were being rounded up to be escorted through more quickly.

"Shall we go join the others, then? I'm in a great deal of a rush to find somewhere to sit and sip on cocktails while you all make fools of yourselves."
