AUDREY - BAXTER BAKERY (where else?)
Audrey was behind the counter at Baxter Bakery, filling up the pastry case. She’d made an extra batch of everything today, and whatever they couldn’t sell she was going to bring home. She already had plans to smuggle away a chocolate croissant. The hunger was getting to her. Pregnancy hormones were making her hungry, and loopy, and sore, and sad, and tired. No one mention anything sad, or Audrey may burst into tears. Again. She liked having things for her hands to do. It meant less thinking time. After filling the case, she was planning on going back and decorating cookies and cupcakes. That’s when she heard someone walking up to the counter, and lifted her head to see who it was.
