Apparently this was a week for the unexpected to occur. First Armand showing up at the theatre. Then his news about moving back to California for his final year, that he was transferring to UCLA to finish his undergrad. A fact she was coming to terms with once she had moved past the anger and frustration and been given a reason. Admittedly she was still wary but her brother was doing what he needed and she would respect that. But he was also looking to find his own apartment and it seemed they had found a good one for him to call his own. And really, that was enough excitement for one week on top of the volunteering she did and her rehearsals. It would seem though that her brother returning to California was not the only surprise the actress would face in the span of a week.
Always one to take any opportunity that arose, agreeing to meet with someone she had only spoken to on the network...once...really wasn't such a shocking thing. Admittedly, Marguerite had not planned for such an occurrence, though in hindsight it did seem plausible. Many people spoke with those they wouldn't normally, nor was it like a dating service or whatever. Simply people who could talk to others in the area and if something happened, it happened. And wasn't that the whole point of life? To live it? To take the reins and go? It was for Marguerite, and that was how she found herself at a coffee shop in the middle of the day, waiting for a man she had just met the night before.
No, that wasn't exactly true. She had seen him at a few stage doors and he was interested in seeing Romeo and Juliet, which was what had prompted the conversation. Perhaps it was just she hadn't expected to run into anyone she was familiar with in some way on the network that had her agreeing to the coffee. That and well, why not? What harm could come from meeting someone for coffee to get better acquainted?
