Who: Loki and Fandral. What: Genderbending. When: Morning of May 27. Where: Their house. Rating/Warnings: High-ish? Mild nudity, a little bit of touching, nothing drastic. Status: Complete.
Loki's dreams have taken a strange turn lately. It's not at all like the dreams he's gotten used to in the last year - in fact, it seems to be a different world altogether, not related in any way. It's certainly not dull, at least. And the Loki he dreams of now is infinitely more sinister than he could have thought, particularly when in a woman's form. Though even that seems to be all part of some trick.
When Loki wakes up in the morning from one of said dreams, the change does not go unnoticed for a moment. He's far too perceptive for that, and when he sits up, he feels a momentary rush of modesty and tugs the blankets up over his quite-different body. God, he hates this place, he thinks, climbing out of bed and quickly pulling on a house-robe before tying it into place. He - she - pushes some hair out of her face and crawls back across the bed, staring down at Fandral unblinkingly.
"Fandral -" Loki pauses. At least her voice isn't awful, though the sound will take some getting used to. "I believe you'll want to wake up."
Fandral rolls over when Loki leaves the bed, burrowing into the pillows with a sleepy noise. The bed is warm and smells like Loki, and Fandral is groggy and comfortable. "Mm?" His brow furrows a little and he registers something different about Loki's voice. When he opens his eyes he sees a woman staring down at him. "I'm fairly certain I went to bed with a man."
"Sometimes, Fandral, I'm absolutely in awe at how clever you are." She huffs. "It would be nice if, for once, this sort of thing happened to you and not me."
"Well you can only be Loki, because no one else could possibly manage that exact tone of voice." He sits up and rubs at his eyes. "I'm going to guess this has something to do with your dreams?"
"One would assume." She sits back, then looks back at Fandral. "I don't look like Sif, do I? I haven't looked in a mirror yet." Then she gets a look of horror. "I don't look like Hela, do I?"
"No -- no. Nothing like Hela. You look like... you, actually. You look like yourself, but more feminine. If that makes any sense." Fandral presses a reassuring kiss to her shoulder and tucks her hair behind her ears. "You're beautiful."
"Thank the gods for small miracles." She gives Fandral a pat on the cheek. "And at least I'm not a teenager this time." Loki slips off the bed and finally walks into the bathroom, examining the new face in the mirror.
Fandral comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist, nuzzling her cheek. "Just as gorgeous as ever."
"You're far too good for my ego." She reaches up to tease at Fandral's hair. "I'm going to need clothes. We should have breakfast and go out."
"What do you think it says about us, and our dreams, that we wake up to you being a woman, shrug it off, and decide to go shopping, hmm?" he smiles and leans into the touch. "From what I've been reading in your Norse books, this isn't as strange as some things that could have happened."
"You know I always like a bit of fun. I suppose it's what happens when you dream of being part of a pantheon." She smirks at his reflection in the mirror. "You're enjoying this."
"I always enjoy you." His hand slips under her dressing gown to stroke her stomach, across her hip, squeezing lightly. "I just want you to know that no matter what form you take, I love you. And I find you very, very attractive."
Loki raises an eyebrow, looking amused. "Well, yes, that much I could tell on my own," she says. She turns around to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth.
"I am in awe of how astute you are," Fandral teases, skimming his hands over her back down to tease at the hem of the robe.
"Subtlety has never been your strong point." Loki finds it both frustrating and interesting now that she has to stand on her toes to even try to kiss Fandral. Just another thing to get used to.
"Mm, here." He lifts her by the hips and sets her on the counter, stepping between her legs to kiss her lightly. "Is that better?"
She huffs a bit, but it's mostly teasing. "Any chance to assert your masculinity, hmm?" Though, admittedly, it's sort of fun. And worrisome, a bit. Loki wonders what Fandral will be like once everything goes back to normal. If it goes back to normal.
"Just making things a little more even. I didn't want you to strain your pretty neck." Fandral smiles and combs his fingers through her hair, tipping her head up for another kiss.
He loves Loki in his male form too, of course. Fandral's always considered himself to be bisexual, and men are just as pleasing to him as women. Though being openly not-straight in the film industry is always a bit of a trial, so he'd pursued women more often than men.
When things go back to normal, if they do, he'll be just as happy as he is now.
"Such a kind man." Loki smiles a bit into the kiss, then nudges at Fandral with her knee. "Breakfast? I need to try and figure out what I can do about something to wear in the interim."
He whines softly and goes for another kiss, fingers trailing along the insides of her thighs. "Right this minute?"
"You're insatiable," she murmurs, though her breath does hitch a bit. She's going to have to get used to how this body reacts.
"And you're exquisite. Will you let me see all of you?" he asks and tugs a little at the edges of her robe, not pulling it off just yet.
"Stop playing to my vanity." Loki looks amused, giving Fandral another kiss. "I suppose you'll be seeing it eventually. May as well be sooner rather than later."
"You love it when I play to your vanity. And I love it when you play to mine." Slowly, he pulls apart the robe, taking in the sight of Loki's new body. And what a beautiful body it is. He tickles his fingers lightly over Loki's ribs, stroking her hips, her thighs, sweeping his fingers up to skim lightly over her breasts. "The most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
She lets him touch as he pleases, but does swat at his hands a little when he gets too tickley. "I'm flattered, given that you've seen plenty of women in your life."
Fandral laughs lightly and swats back, kissing her playfully. "And I haven't loved a single one of them the way I love you."
"Very smart response." She presses her palms to his chest and nudges their noses together, giving his lip a gentle nibble.
"I try. May I kiss you for a while before we have to go to breakfast?"
"I had assumed that was the plan."
"Mm, good. Am I allowed to touch, too?" He tugs Loki a little closer, wrapping her legs around his waist and skims his hands up her back.
"You're already touching," Loki points out, wrapping her arms around his neck. She arches a little against the touch, letting out a content sigh as she gives him a kiss.
"That's a good point. Is it okay if I keep doing it?"
"Always a gentleman." She looks amused. "Yes, Fandral, you can keep touching."
"Well, it's a new body. I wanted to make sure you were still okay with everything." His hands shift up to grip her ass as he kisses over her neck, down to nuzzle her collarbone. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"I'm an Asgardian, I think I can handle it," she replies, tilting her head back a little. "I don't know. Eggs, maybe."
"I can make you eggs." He shifts his hands up to run over her hips, then further to tease his fingers along the curve of her breasts. "And coffee?"
"Hmm, always coffee." Loki teases her fingers a little in Fandral's hair. "Maybe poached eggs."
"I can do poached. On toast." Fandral smiles and kisses her again, sucking gently at her lower lip. "You're a little smaller like this. Slighter. I don't know what of your clothes will fit."
"Considering I was never very large to begin with, I do find it annoying." She hums a little into the kiss, thoughtfully. "I may need to cut up a pair of jeans and a t-shirt."
"How fashionable," he teases and nuzzles her affectionately. "I suppose we ought to get going with breakfast. This sounds like a long day of shopping."
"Between how fussy the two of us are, it could very well take hours." Loki raises her eyebrows. The mental list of everything she needs is getting longer and longer, and things might need to be prioritized.
