Thanks, but I had it handled.
Who: Kate Kane and Sigrun What: Patroling When: MidMay Where: Out in the streets Rating: PG-13 for beating up bad guys Status: complete
It was one of those nights. The bad guys seemed to be everywhere and most of them brave (or stupid) enough to fight back. Kate was glad for the armor built into her suit, but she was going to be bruised. And Elsa would be upset. Hell, she wasn’t even supposed to be out yet. Her ribs were still healing.
Despite that, she charged down a pack of men attacking another man on her Batcycle, leaping off of it as it slammed into the gang. She flipped through the air, cape billowing behind her, then interior the same color as her lipstick and the symbol on her chest. Red.
It was a red smirk that was the last thing the nearest man saw before she clocked his lights out.
Sigrun was walking around the city. She was bored. A sedate lifestyle was not good for her. Her head came up as Fate pinged her and she turned down an alley to find a gang being taught a lesson.
She looked around then focused on one sneaking up on the woman handing his buddies their asses. She wrapped her hand around his throat having moved behind him silently. She hoisted him up and smiled. "Fate says you don't die, I almost feel like going against it"
She squeezed her fingers until he passed out and she dropped him in a heap.
The woman in black fired some kind of gun at the back of a retreating man. He flailed to the ground and twitched as an electric charge rolled through him. Reloading, she holstered it and turned to look at the blonde woman. “Thanks, but I had it handled.”
Sigrun poked the man in the heap with a toe, then smirked. “Alright then, have fun.” she wasn’t one to stick around when she was unwanted. Though she couldn’t help but smirk, even a seconds’ worth of action had made her feel alive, it was a feeling fast fleeing her these days. She found herself not caring half the time and worked hard to recapture any sort of give-a-damns. “Sorry to burst in on the fun.”
Kate waved her hand in a sweeping gesture. “Well, it’s definitely fun. Not much exercise, though. But there rarely is any.” She kicked a man in the ass as he got up and fled. “Men.”
Sigrun let out a throaty little laugh before tilting her head a bit. “Shameless they are. Creatures of habit, I fear. Niceties are lost on their kind.” she mused. “I’m sure I could find some who would require more exertion than these, if you wanted.” Sigrun had a nose for trouble, after all.
“Now that’s the best thing I’ve heard all night,” Kate replied, folding her arms. Her lips - such a bright red against the paleness of her skin - formed a wide smirk.
Sigrun smiled, a wicked little thing that barely curled her lips. “I am Sigrun” she said simply then closed her eyes. Let Fate guide her footsteps, she had faith it would work in their favor. Fate was kind to those who did Her work for her.
“Batwoman,” Kate replied, gesturing at the symbol on her chest. Seeing someone in red and black with her devilish grin coming at you? Was probably scary to people.
Not sigrun but that was okay. "Interesting moniker. Come on then." She turned on her heel and headed north.
Kate raised her eyebrow. She wasn’t generally a follower, but a tough, hot woman? She was willing to see where this would go.
Sigrun figured she’d either follow, or not. It didn’t truly matter which it was. Sigrun was hungry for trouble and she was sure she’d find it. Of course knowing where the troublesome folks lay helped that one. She carefully picked her course and curled her lips as she rounded a corner, a heaping helping of troublemakers were throwing dice in an alley, discussing illicit affairs amongst themselves. They were tougher looking than the last group and had the air of folk who have no problem asserting themselves.
Kate grappled her way to the roof top, cracking her knuckles as she moved closer to where the troublemakers were waiting. She looked down at Sigrun and nodded. Her smiled flashed, white and full of teeth, before she lept off the roof, her cape billowing above her like wings.
Sigrun delved into the fray, happy to get into trouble. After all no one knew her middle name. It might be trouble. The blonde had no problems getting her hands dirty, and staying out of Kate’s way. This was a nice distraction, was it not?
