Sharon Carter and Athos
The iced, sparkling latte was just far too pretty to pass up. It practically glowed. The espresso gave it a beautiful, caramel color, and the sparkles of the milk shone through the clear, plastic cup. Somehow, it felt like there was less condensation on an iced, sparkling latte than a regular one, but that may have just been Sharon's imagination.
She broke into a smile when she saw the familiar face of a man she'd bumped into here before. With a thankful nod, she moved to his table and slipped into the chair opposite his.
"Athos, right? Thank you. I didn't realize it was going to get so busy in here."
