Where: Stark Enterprises...yeah...her new shiny job!
What: Yachiru's being Yachiru. Feel free to notice her running around and randomly popping up to say hi to people while they work before you jump in if you'd like.
When: Today, Monday, April 14...because it's a Monday and she thinks people could use some cheering up
Status: Incomplete, threaded, OPEN TO ALL who would have a reason to be at Stark

Yachiru was bored. Snakeychan had left with Boobschan. Ichi was gone too, and the loud-mouthed Renji. It looked like she might be here by herself, but Yachiru wasn't about to let that dampen her cheerful self. She had a full-fledged job now, an honest university student, and she was slowly leaving her life with the Yakuza group behind. Slowly.

Every now and then they would still contact her, but she wasn't fulfilling missions, nor was she accepting payments from them. They went right back to where they came from.

So she found herself at work today, at Stark Enterprises or whatever it was called. Popping around people's desks in her usual manner and saying hello to just about everyone. She flung a few pieces of candy around too, just for good measure, and probably looked like she had no business being there at all. She was, after all, only fifteen, but her intelligence helped her get to where she was currently. She enjoyed what she was doing and she was good at it. Rather than being an infiltrator for the Yakuza, she was now a computer programmer, working to keep people out rather than in. It was fairly simple, really, to think about the ways that people would try to hack into things.

Besides, handing out candy at random was probably a fun thing to do for her coworkers. She knew there were at least a few people here who would enjoy it.

Pepper and Yachiru

Pepper made it a point to know all her employees by name and to find out a little about them too. She believed it helped the company hang onto their staff especially in such a competitive market. It was always nice to feel valued and appreciated.

Which was why she was on her way to check on their newest, and youngest, employee. She was only fifteen which had meant pulling a few strings but Tony had been adamant that this girl knew her stuff so Pepper had made it happen.

Knocking on the door she entered the room with a smile, "Yachiru, how are you getting on?" she asked.

Yachiru didn't let age or any stipulations keep her from doing what she could do well. When she heard the knock on the door, Yachiru perked up and grinned brightly over at her supervisor. She wasn't really afraid of her. After all, there was very little that did scare Yachiru Kusajishi. She had all of her memories now, or it seemed that way, knowing her entire story in the dream world. Full fledged Soul Reaper Lieutenant. Death didn't scare her, and why should it? Besides, what other damage could someone like Pepper do here?

Still, she was a boss, but that just meant that Yachiru would be friendly regardless. "Hi! I'm doing well, thanks for asking," she quipped happily, and tossed a piece of candy in Pepper's direction. Candy she still had left, shockingly, from when her and Gin had held up the candy store a few months ago.

Yachiru may not be worried about the legal aspects of being employed but it was Pepper's job to do so. And Pepper would have been horrified if the young girl had been terrified of her, since she was probably the least intimidating person in the building. Efficient and a workaholic yes, terrifying definitely not.

"I'm glad to hear it. Please let us know if you need anything" she said before catching the candy that had been thrown at her, "Oh thank you. I take it you have a sweet tooth?" she smiled.

Hopping up to sit on the edge of her desk, Yachiru watched the woman who was considered her main supervisor. She seemed pretty friendly. What world was she from, then? She wondered what her dreams were like. She'd only heard of Tony Stark through the Valar network, after all, so it was safe to assume on her end that the majority of the people here had those dreams. The Soul Reaper part of her wouldn't hesitate to come right out and ask that question, but the human part of her did. She'd been an infiltrator far too long to feel comfortable just coming right out and asking those sorts of questions.

No, far better to just keep watch for now. Things would come out soon enough. "I do enjoy candy," she chirped in response. "What's your favorite?" This was part of Yachiru's personality. She could be young, cheerful and appear like she was a sugar high while all at the same time, she was calculating her next moves in the back of her mind. It was something she'd learned to do, so that way her appearance and her younger age could work toward her advantage depending on the situation.

She wasn't at all dressed very professionally, well, at least not for her. Yachiru had chosen to wear a kimono, and a flowery one at that, representing her culture. It was early on in her employment, so she figured she could start a trend now easily enough.

"Well I can't say I eat it very often, I like fruit flavored candy except strawberry since I'm allergic but I think maybe my favorite is peanut based candy" Pepper didn't really think when she'd come to check on their newest employee that they'd end up discussing candy but she found the young woman to be friendly and sweet.

She loved the outfit Yachiru was wearing, it was very very beautiful. "Do you have a favourite?" she asked kindly.

"Oh, so you're the opposite of Ichi. He must like strawberries because his hair is like a strawberry," remarked Yachiru cheerfully, not really minding that Pepper probably had no clue who Ichigo Kurosaki was. Or, really, that she didn't care if he did or didn't like strawberries. It was Yachiru's job to give people nicknames.

"Peanut based candy...but your name is Pepper...hmmm." She frowned in thought, her brows furrowing like she was in deep concentration. "Well, he already gave himself a nickname so I can't change that. It's why I liked him so much." She was referring to Tony's calling himself Iron Man post, but gave no explanation on the topic. "Nutty? Pepper is already a food. I'll have to think on that for a while!" Yachiru admitted with a grin. "Oh, my favorite...well, I do like lollipops, but all candy is delicious."

Pepper just hadn't given Yachiru a reason to show off her scary side yet. She did have one. How else could she have made it to be the lieutenant of squad eleven, of all the squads, and keep all the boys in line?

Pepper smiled as Yachiru spoke, she didn't have a clue who the young girl was talking about but didn't mind listening. She was obviously a bubbly personality. It was nice to have someone so happy around.

"Oh well actually Tony, I mean Mr Stark, he nicknamed me Pepper, my first name is Virginia" she explained, "So if you're trying to think of a nickname I already have one"

Pepper indicated the candy pile, "Doesn't look like you're going to run out anytime soon"

Yachiru clapped her hands enthusiastically at that comment, knowing that she liked this place for a reason. "If you call him Tony, I can too, but I'd rather call him Iron Man since that's his name now," remarked Yachiru simply, her happy smile staying in put for now.

"Aha! I knew I liked him. Pepper it is then. Anyone I like gets a nickname," stated Yachiru simply, as if that explained everything. "And I try not to. I have a lot of energy and I use it easily, so the candy helps a bit." Because that made complete sense.

She frowned a moment, then looked up at Pepper curiously. "Do you have...those dreams? Iron Man mentioned he did, that's how he knew about the nickname." There was a reason for her bringing this up now, but she'd get to that question soon enough. Not just yet.

Laughing Pepper nodded, "He'll answer to any of those" she told the girl.

Well Pepper took it as a good sign if the people Yachiru liked got nicknames and she was nicknaming Tony and herself. "Well if you're ever running low just come and see me and I'll have more delivered to you" she offered.

The dream question took her by surprise but she smiled anyway, "I do. I share Tony's actually. I'm his assistant there too"
