Loras waved a hand at the smoke, having not noticed it until now. Since when did Renly have such a disgusting habit? Loras thought it was because this wasn't really the Renly he'd known. Of course it is, he thought, wanting badly to pull Renly against him and feel the solidity of his noble lover against him.
"You definitely didn't smoke," he scoffed.
He glanced around the parking lot. It was empty. It occurred to Loras that they were in a parking lot, yet again, and that it was abandoned, yet again, as if the fucking cosmos themselves were somehow conspiring. Abruptly, Loras snagged his index finger at one of Renly's belt loops. He didn't pull much, but he stepped to Renly, feeling his knees weaken and his chest ache. The last time, Renly had all but pushed him away. Please, don't again, he wanted to say.
"It isn't very attractive," he said, his face just far away enough from Renly's that he could see the man without seeing two of him. "You should quit. You're better than that." He spoke to Renly as if he'd known him for years.
