Who: Faye and Merle What: Valentine's Where: Their place When: 14th Feb Rating: Innuendo Status: Complete
Merle Dixon was constantly surprising himself these days, particularly when it came to Faye. Women, for Merle, had never stuck around for too long and he’d never stuck around them. He just moved through life constantly and occasionally he stepped in line with a woman, and they moved together for a short time. Faye was….different. He didn’t want to move on. Yes, some part of him was proud in that juvenile way, proud that he was in a relationship with a beautiful and much younger woman. Still, there was more to it.
The ‘more’ was doing things for Valentine’s Day, which he’d barely ever conceived of in the past. He rolled over in bed away from the sunlight through the window, reaching out for Faye but not finding her there.
Faye was finding herself just as surprised as Merle was, she liked knowing that he’d be around and she had settled into their more official relationship status more easily than she had thought she would. It was nice. And she got a little thrill each time she spoke about her ‘boyfriend’, childish maybe but that had always filled her with dread before whereas now it was affection.
She had slipped out of bed and was now in the kitchen making breakfast for her man, she was stood in front of the cooker frying eggs and bacon and humming to herself.
Merle stood in the doorframe of the kitchen, watching Faye’s ass while she cooked. It was as domestic as they ever got.
He walked up behind her, slipping his arms around her just below her breasts.”Mornin’, ma’am,” he said, smelling her hair.
It didn't happen too often, Faye worked late most nights so mornings weren't her best time but this was Valentine’s Day and she had brought an outfit for later that would blow his mind.
"Mmm mornin' handsome" she said, turning her head for a kiss.
Merle’s mouth met hers in a slow kiss, his arms tightening around her a little. “Smells good,” he said. “And happy ‘you’ day.”
Faye laughed softly, "Shouldn't it be Happy 'us' day?" she teased pressing herself close to him.
He grinned a little, his remaining hand sliding across her stomach. “I got somethin’ for you,” he said. “I don’t know how to do this shit. I don’t even believe in Valentine’s Day or….Father’s Day or any of that crap. But I did get somethin’.”
She smiled and rested a hand over his, "You know you didn't have to but I do appreciate it" she told him honestly. Faye knew he wanted her, they'd already agreed to go steady which was something neither of them usually did. That said a lot about how they both felt. Although she was happy that he'd tried for her.
Merle bent his neck and kissed her. “Well, I got us plane tickets to Vegas for next week. Caesar’s Palace, forum towers suite,” he said offhandedly. “Now how about that bacon?”
Faye moved the pan off the heat before she turned in his arms with a bright smile, “Really?” she exclaimed in amazement, it was an extremely sweet idea, “You’re amazing, I love you” she told him before kissing him enthusiastically.
He kissed her back hard and hungry, pushing her against the counter precariously close to the stove. “Of ‘course you do,” he grinned as he broke the kiss briefly. “And I do too, y’know.”
She nodded, “I know. Good job too” she teased him with a smile, “Maybe I should keep your present until then too. It’ll help us properly christen the suite” was all she gave away.
Merle looked at her with mild horror and a slight smile. “Aw, hun, you gonna keep my present from me? How am I gonna make it through that flight?” he asked.
“I can think of a few ways” she told him saucily, “And I promise to make it worth the wait”
“Oh yeah?” asked Merle, leaning in and resting his chin against her forehead. “Why don’t you show me?”
Faye smiled, “Maybe a little preview is in order” she said, kissing his cheek and jawline, “It is only fair after all and something we’ll both very much enjoy”
Merle smiled down at her. “Sounds damn good to me,” he said, his eyes moving from her face to her cleavage, and then back up to her face. Her lips, her eyes. “I’m glad I got you, you know that, right?”
She nodded as she smiled and lay her hand on his cheek, “I know” she said softly, “I’m glad I got you too. I think we’re kind of perfect for each other”
Merle decided to offset any threat of impending sappiness. “And you got rockin’ tits,” he said.
Faye laughed as she hugged him, “You better believe it and they are all for you” she told him before slipping a hand down, “Just like your rockin’ cock is all mine”
Merle laughed with her, curving his hand downward to grab her ass. “So how ‘bout that preview?”
“Come on” she said backing into the bedroom, “Let’s go work up your appetite”
