The little brunette was just dropped off at her grandfather's place. Charlie was nice enough to watch her so that Bella could run some errands. Truthfully she knew that Charlie didn't need an excuse to watch his granddaughter. She could swear that he loved that girl more than he loved her.
She had come out of the mall with two hands worth of shopping bags. Putting them in the back of her car as she checked her messages. It wasn't until she turned the key that she heard a harsh sound from the engine. She couldn't drive her daughter in a car with that noise.
With a sigh she risked driving to the closest mechanic that she could find. "Hello?" she called out into the shop.
