Those words were… They cut in a way that Samandriel hadn’t been expecting. The angel tried to mask those weird conflicting feelings by kissing Michael hard, hoping he didn’t notice the shift in Samandriel, however brief it’d been. He moaned, loud and desperate into Michael’s mouth, breaking the kiss to press their foreheads together, noses artlessly colliding and smushing. Between Michael’s hand and his cock forcing rhythmic moans out of the angel that were far too close to little yelps of pleasure than anything, it was no surprise that he’d lost coherency enough to even think about warning Michael that he was about to come. He simply did, making a mess over the other man’s hand and a strangled noise he would absolutely deny he was capable of producing later.
He hadn’t noticed the shift in Samandriel’s mood, at the time too overwhelmed with everything he was feeling, he was happy to have that mouth again for as long as he did though. Michael had already been close when he felt the angel spill himself over his hand and stomach, perhaps a little surprised but genuinely alright with it. Warning or no he was happy that he had managed to get Samandriel off. He carried on less than a handful of slow thrusts before he came himself, his moans softer but no less satisfied than the last time. Between hard breaths he kissed Samandriel’s forehead, “I think you might be the death of me.”
“I really doubt it,” Samandriel said, leaving his wings out even as he flopped down next to Michael on his side on the bed. The brush of fingers against his skin cleaned up whatever mess remained both on them and the bed as he looked across the pillows at the other man. “Whatever happens,” he said softly, holding that green gaze as if he could impart the wisdom of the ages just by staring at Michael long enough, “know that I love you.” There could very well be a storm coming and he wanted to make sure that not only did Michael not have to weather it alone, but that somehow they might all make it through hurricane archangel together.
“Samandriel.” he reached out, taking that hand in his as his body slowly began to calm again. “You sound like you think you’re going to lose me.” Maybe the angel knew more of the future, no, he was sure that he knew far more than Michael did, but it seemed like an odd thing to say from his perspective. It was funny to think that to Michael their time together had initially been a one night thing, but now after he found out what Samandriel was and the angel had made that promise to protect him and it was so much more than that. He didn’t think he’d be willing to give up the little angel now. “You’re not going to lose me. I’m not going anywhere."
Samandriel curled his fingers around Michael's, gaze fixed on where their hands intertwined. "You might be," he whispered. "For all I know you might wake up one morning and just...want nothing to do with me again." He stroked his thumb against the hand he was holding. "I love too easily and too deeply for my own good. I'm..." He looked at the medallion on his eventual brother's chest, reached out his free hand to catch it and run his fingers over the image. "I have no delusions over my own importance. Not in a city with werewolves and vampires, archangels and demons, heroes and hunters. So... Just... whatever happens... Just that. I love you. Even if you think I shouldn't. Or if some part of you still thinks I'm a traitor somehow for loving him too." He wasn't born to ride anyone's cock. But if he had been...perhaps Michael might have qualified as close enough.
He had to frown at that, how could he not? The angel that taken away his pain and said that he loved him and that had shared his bed three times now, looked almost as heart breakingly sad as he had when Michael had called Lucifer the Devil. He couldn’t take that. The wings made it more difficult but Michael did manage to get an arm around Samandriel and pull him in close, pressing a kiss to his forehead. He really didn’t understand most of what he meant but he wasn’t going to question him on it, not when he was like that. “That’s not going to happen, I promise. My feelings for you won’t change.”
