Who: Cecil Baldwin and OTA!
What: A walk in the park
When: 1/29
Where: Pick a park, any park
Rating: Probably very low
Status: Ongoing and Open

It's an absolutely gorgeous day out. And gorgeous days, in Cecil's opinion, require long walks in the sunshine (after all his script writing for the day is completed, of course).

So he strolls through the park, hands in his pockets, smiling at everything and nothing and generally rather enjoying himself. At some point he even finds a pond and stops to toss some bread at some mildly befuddled ducks.

All in all, quite a lovely day.

Wally had gotten a bit lazy. Being in a relationship with Tiffany was wonderful. He was head over heels in love with her. But it'd made him soft--literally.

So he decided to jog this morning. He'd put on his running shoes, a pair of sweatpants, and went out for a jog at his favorite park.

He rounds the corner near the bench where he sometimes sees Castiel, and heads toward the duck pond, lost in thought. So lost, in fact, that he hasn't noticed he's exhausted. By the time he reaches the duck pond, he has to stop and double over to catch his breath.

Cecil is distracted from the ducks by what appears to be a person in distress, and heads over to see if everything's all right.

"Are you okay?" he asks, touching the man's arm lightly. "I think there's a bench nearby -- "

"Yeah," Wally says, slowly standing up and frowning at a stitch in his side. He takes a couple of steps over to the bench nearby and plops down on it, grabbing at his ribs.

"...pushed a bit hard on my jog," Wally explains, giving a gentle laugh at himself. He isn't used to jogging the way he used to be.

"Oh! Well, um." Cecil isn't much for exercise himself. Which he probably should be, given what a sedentary job he has, but there you are.

"Deep breaths. Do you need some water? Not that I have any but I'm sure we could find you some."

"No, I'll be okay," Wally says from his spot on the bench. "Thanks, though." He wonders for a moment why he's out running so hard. There's always a reason, always something that spurs him into action. It must be something going on with Tiffany. The most emotional aspect of his life.

Grace is rather enjoying the day, as well. Her dreams have certainly picked up, and that's invigorating, and she's got a new project underway. So it's nice to take a moment for herself, and the park always offers just the right amount of relaxation.

She's near the pond herself, and she can't help but laugh a bit.

"You don't see too many people feeding the ducks anymore," she says, voice entirely friendly.

"I know they can get their own food, but I'm sure they like a special treat, every now and again.

Besides, it's strangely relaxing. Have you ever tried it? You feel sort of weirdly at peace with the world."
