Who: Finn Mikaelson and Sage What: Impromptu Run In and Hook Up When: Backdated: Thursday, January 9th. Early Evening Where: A Deli then Sage's Apartment Rating: NC-17 Status: Complete
Work going quite well for Finn; he had settled into his position and had even managed to help his old friend during their sessions. Perhaps he should have referred him to someone else because of their connection, but it had been such a long time since they’d seen one another that it wasn’t really a conflict of interests. Aside from work, Finn had been spending more time with his family, especially Natalia and was more than happy now that he’d come back to California. He’d missed so much while he’d been away, but he was beginning to feel like a member of the family once again, which made him happy.
And then there was Sage. In his dreams he was in love with Sage and she with him. They snuck out to see each other because Klaus and Rebekah did not approve of Sage, which he assumed was only because they didn’t want anyone else to come between them and their family, but he needed to see her. Now, Sage was in Orange County and from the little he knew about her in the waking world, she had been for awhile. It had been difficult when she’d helped him buy a tux for Rebekah and Stefan’s wedding, to see her as someone he’d only just met while he also saw her as the woman his dream self had loved. He still wasn’t entirely sure what to do, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t think about her often.
After work, Finn had decided to stop by a deli near his house that he liked, to pick up some things for the weekend. And of course, Sage was on his mind as usual.
Sage had actually had the day off, but she was in the area visiting friends and staying as busy as usual. She was glad for it--it was all a good distraction from the fact her bed had been empty for a few months, her prospects for male company looking grim. It wasn’t like that was what made her happy, but secretly, she could get a little bit lonely...among other things. With her security in her job and her life, why couldn’t she have more?
Alright...so she might have currently found someone of interest who was handsome and fascinating, though not her usual type, and running into him was the last thing she would have expected when she stepped into the family-owned, neighborhood deli for a bite to eat on her way back to her apartment. Of course Sage recognized him right away, even without a clear shot, and for half a second, she was considering turning around and walking straight back out of the door.
But why should she? It wasn’t like this was some awkward situation. She wasn’t vying for some other woman’s man.
Inhaling and adjusting her purse, the redhead moved further into the deli, dressed more casually than Finn had ever seen her, wearing a pair of skinnies and heels with a structured top that showed off her curves just right. Her hips swayed slightly as she stopped right beside the man, pushing her sunglasses into her hair. “Why do I keep running into you in weird places?”
While Sage had been on his mind, Finn hadn’t actually expected to run into her here of all places. Sage didn’t seem like the deli type; especially not with that ensemble, but Finn wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth. “I wasn’t aware that the mall was a weird place,” Glancing over at her, he smirked. Ever since she’d helped him pick out the suit for Stefan and Rebekah’s wedding, Finn had secretly been hoping he’d run into Sage somewhere, but he hadn’t actually thought it would happen. They had talked a few times since then, but it was nothing like in the dreams and she didn’t appear to have dreamt about him yet either. Part of him hoped that when she did dream about him, she’d contact him, but the other part was sure that she’d be weirded out and think that he was some kind of stalker or something. Or maybe he was just thinking too much into this. “And since when are delis weird places?”
She returned his amused smirk with her own and bit gently into her bottom lip, watching him closely. She’d kinda missed his handsome face and he was really the only guy she was finding worthy of company at the moment. Things had been so bleak in the dating game for her (and you know, when it came to friends with benefits, which she currently had none of).
“It’s not like...weird in the sense of the Twilight Zone or something, but more like, I just didn’t expect to see you,” the redhead explained to him, giving a shrug. It was more than a little coincidental, as though there was some great force out there trying to push them together. What were the chances of meeting someone you knew in a small deli when there were hundreds of them in the area?
“So, I’ll try again. Hi, Finn. How are you?”
“No, I suppose it isn’t Twilight Zone weird. If it were, the meat would be people or the employees would have pig faces or something,” Finn was actually a fan of the Twilight Zone, so the fact that his life was almost like a Twilight Zone episode these days was somewhat ironic. Honestly, with the dreams and other strange things that happened, the only thing that was missing was an introduction by Rod Serling.
When Sage “started over”, Finn smiled, “I’m well. How’re you, Sage?” It was nice to see her in person again. He hadn’t had any new dreams lately, but the ones of the two of them had been on repeat.
“I’m...busy,” she replied to him. “I was just over here visiting some friends, thought I would drop by for a bite to eat.” She was extremely tempted to ask if he would like to stay and chat with her, even if she had figured she would be taking her meal to go. Things were better with company, she felt at times, and why not a handsome man that clearly had at least a bit of interest in her.
“The holidays are over so at least work has started to slow down again, as much as it usually does.”
As the person before them in the line finished and headed for the door, Sage stepped forward with her companion, looking over at him in silent offering for him to get what he wanted before her.
“This is a good place for a bite to eat. My place isn’t very far from here so I come here often on my way home from work.” Finn had to admit, it was very nice to see Sage. He’d thought about sending her a message on Valarnet, but he’d thought that might come off as slightly creepy or stalkerish and that was the last thing he’d wanted when it came to Sage. When they reached the counter, Finn ordered a turkey club then turned to Sage, “My treat.”
She wanted to protest. She was wildly independent and she could buy her own lunch...but it was kind of sweet in a way no other man had really acted towards her. Sage was just so used to splitting the bill that she looked at him and gave a little nod of thanks before turning back to the employee behind the counter and getting an Italian hoagie for herself.
“That’s right, you do the...therapy thing,” she replied to him, standing close at his side and watching as the man behind the counter put together their sandwiches quickly, but carefully. The redhead had remembered what he’d told her about his past, how he had been deep into a very bad place of drugs...and probably a bit of sex. There were a lot of people that didn’t come back from that sort of thing.
“It’s a good job to have. Better than helping pretentious, rich people.”
If Sage had protested, Finn would have understood, but he was glad that she hadn’t and he paid for their sandwiches then moved aside while they were made, “It gives me a sense of purpose. For a long time I felt worthless and like I had no path, but this has helped me just as much as I help others.” Some patients reminded him of himself most of the time, but he was happy to get to help him so that they wouldn’t go further down the wrong path like he had for so long. “And how is your job?”
Sage had never really felt that way about any of her employment. The way she saw it, it was just a means to living and at the end of the day, that was it. She didn’t get much enjoyment from it and figured that maybe there wasn’t anything out there that would make her feel like that. But a job was a job. “There’s not much to talk about. It’s busy, tiring, and people don’t like to give you credit where credit is due. Most of the time I’m dealing with customers bitching about this and that and hoping for some kind of deal.” She shrugged. “Of course, I have to say ‘yes, ma’am’, ‘yes, sir’.”
“What is it that you’d like to do?” Finn asked curiously as their sandwiches were handed over and he passed Sage hers. Even from the first time he’d met her, Sage had seemed like a woman who should be doing something besides working in retail. She was gorgeous and smart and he felt that she should be doing something besides practically waiting on other people, “Would you like to sit?” There were a couple tables in the deli and truth be told, Finn didn’t want to part from Sage just yet.
She was about to answer his question, but then he asked her to sit with him and she gave a little nod of her head, going over to a nearby table and placing down her purse and sandwich before running to get them a couple of waters. Sage took the seat across from Finn and gave him a little smile, opening up the wax paper the sandwich was wrapped up in. “I honestly don’t know what I’d like to do. I’m in my mid-twenties and my plan hasn’t stretched beyond a retail store manager yet.”
She paused and lifted up the sandwich taking a bite and chewing quietly with her mouth closed. Once she finished, she washed it down with some water and continued to talk. “I don’t think a lot of people actually get a clue. It’s always a work in progress. Don’t you think? It’s like...all those dreams of children saying ‘I want to be this when I grow up’ hardly ever come true.”
Finn knew exactly what she was talking about and nodded as he unwrapped his own sandwich, “I used to want to be like my father, because my older brother did and I thought that was what I should do,” That had been only one of the many reasons he’d turned to drugs when he had felt that Mikael was ignoring him because of the situation with Klaus. When Finn looked back on those times now, he realized that he should have stepped in and been the older brother that Klaus needed at the time, instead he used drugs to escape everything that was going on while at the same time, hoping it would draw the attention to him. He really hadn’t been thinking correctly back then. “I’m glad that my sister and younger brothers know what they want to do. It helps to keep my father off their backs. At the same time, a lot of people these days don’t figure out what they really want to do until their late twenties from what I’ve seen.”
“My father wanted...me to be successful and not take anyone’s shit, basically. So I guess I succeeded. He was pretty old school. A few years ago, he learned to stop hoping I might settle down with some nice guy and pop out some babies.” That was probably too much information in hindsight, but whatever, she knew Finn’s past so she could overshare just a bit in return. Hopefully that wouldn’t make things too awkward.
But she shrugged and went back to eating, turning her eyes away from him at the moment. She didn’t have a big family like he did, there’s wasn’t any chance for them to push their dreams of the future onto another child. She was all they had and a part of her preferred it that way.
Finn nodded, “My father has always pushed just a little too hard and thinks he knows what is best for each of us. The problem is that we have all, in one way or another, inherited his stubbornness, so discussions about our futures have never gone well. My youngest brother has actually moved out of the main house and into the guest house at my family home in order to be away from him.” Finn was quite proud of the things that Henrik had accomplished at such a young age and he was sure that their father was too, but at the same time, he was certain that Mikael wanted Henrik to continue pushing himself in order to be the youngest in whatever field he chose. “Rebekah has a baby, so they’re content at the moment with one grandchild.”
“And knowing those Salvatores…,” she started with a little smile. “I don’t think I could ever stand the whole...white picket fence and minivan kind of life. It’s never been something I’ve dreamed of. I’ve always wanted something big since my parents were so stuck on their close-knit neighborhood lifestyle. But I knew that...I needed that community.” Sage took a deep breath and ran a finger along the rim of her glass, making a small smile about nothing in particular...then suddenly frowned, lifting her head and looking at the man across from her. “I’m babbling. It’s known to happen very rarely.”
Finn had almost forgotten that Sage knew Stefan’s brother. “Rebekah and Stefan are very happy with the picket fence life, but I don’t believe they have a minivan,” He smirked slightly then took a sip of his own drink, “I don’t know if I ever see myself having children or getting married. Of course I believe in love and all that and wouldn’t rule out finding someone to settle down with, but I don’t necessarily think you need to get married and have children to do that.” His shoulders lifted in a shrug and he shook his head, “It’s alright. I appear to be babbling as well.” He didn’t know why he was telling her all of that, but he just felt close to her and whether that was because of the dreams or not, he felt he could trust her.
She was silent for quite a while, just working on her sandwich between drinks of water. Normally, the silence might have been awkward, but in that moment, it was somehow comfortable, though she didn’t really know why. Sage mulled over his words and she felt that she couldn’t exactly agree. She knew love was real, but she hadn’t much experienced it past the love of her parents, and the lust she had felt more than a few times in her life. That wasn’t exactly the same thing, it’d be silly to bring it up though. Every girl seemed to have had at least one crush in their life, one boyfriend they could swear they had loved, but Sage never had. Relationships hadn’t existed too well for her outside of mutual pleasure.
“That’s fine,” she finally said, looking at him with deep blue eyes full of too many things she couldn’t say.
“Maybe we need a topic that has nothing to do with our families or love,” Part of Finn wished that she had already started dreaming, because that would be something to talk about, but at the same time he hoped that she wouldn’t, because if she started dreaming then she’d know that he was a vampire or could be someday and he didn’t want her to be afraid of him. “What are your hobbies?” This seemed like a safe topic and a way to get to know Sage a little bit better.
Hobbies were pretty neutral, though she was going to avoid adding sex into that short list. She did actually have real hobbies, ones that occupied a lot of her time outside of work...well, if she chose for them to. Which lately she did. “Um...I like to box. And I also do roller derby. You know, skating around in short shorts, getting all rough with other women,” Sage told him, cocking her head to the side slightly as a devious smirk came over her lips. Usually when she brought that up with men, their blood seemed to rush straight to their dicks.
“So, I suppose I have a thing for beating on people.”
Finn’s brows rose as she mentioned her hobbies; he couldn’t help it. He’d heard of roller derby before and for whatever reason he could totally picture Sage boxing and of course the mental images weren’t bad at all, “I’ve never actually seen roller derby in action. I’ve heard of it, but that’s about as far as that goes. How did you get into that?” Of course now all he could picture was Sage in short shorts and he took a sip of his drink in the hopes that it would keep his body temperature normal.
“A girl at the gym I hang out at most,” she told him as an answer to his question. “I suppose she kind of recruited me for it, figured I would like it. She was right.” It was a good workout, that was for sure, and Sage was definitely the kind of woman that liked to get dirty and sweaty with some fun. That was intimidating to some men, ones that expected girls to be feminine and dainty. She’d never been like that, herself.
“You should come sometime. I think you’d enjoy it.”
Finn had never much been one for sports, but there was something appealing about watching Sage skate around in short shorts. In fact, he’d probably be worried if he didn’t find the thought of the appealing, “You’ll have to let me know when your next match is. I’ll clear my schedule for it.” Not that he had a very packed social calendar as it was. “I’m sure you’re very good at it.” Was he flirting? He hadn’t flirted much over the last six years so he wasn’t entirely sure.
“I’m good at a lot of things, darling,” the redhead responded, giving a little waggle of her eyebrows. “Not just causing people pain. Though...to the right person…” she hinted at with a laugh, moving her hands slowly to fold up the wax paper her now finished sandwich had come in, a manicured thumbnail pushing down on it so the paper laid flat and neat. When she was done, she took another sip of her water and licked her lips. “You should give me your number.”
Finn’s eyes were drawn to the way her hands moved as she folded up the paper from her sandwich then followed it as she picked up her glass, eyes now trained on her lips. For a moment he was completely transfixed until she spoke again, “Yes. Of course.” He’d be a fool to say no after all. She was a gorgeous woman and was clearly interested in him. “I can program it into your cell phone if you want. I don’t actually have a pen on me, otherwise I’d write it down.”
Sage smiled, more sweetly this time, and reached into her purse in the seat beside her, pulling out the Samsung that she unlocked with a password before handing over to him. She wasn’t paranoid he might snoop as she had nothing to hide and Finn seemed like the most honest man she’d ever met. Her fingers brushed against his with the movement and she very purposely stroked her hand over Finn’s before moving it back onto the table like she might be innocent.
As their hands touched, it awoke all the nerve endings along his hand where Sage touched him and went a shiver down his spine, which he tried to suppress. Phone in hand, he went to contacts and added his name and number before handing the phone back to her, “There. Now, do I get your number?” Of course if she texted him then he’d have it either way, but he didn’t want her to think that he wasn’t interested.
She gave a playful roll of her eyes, taking the phone back and moving to send a message to him through her contacts. The text consisted of a winky face and nothing else. “There. Just in case you thought I might just be teasing you,” Sage told him, putting her phone away in her purse before finishing off her glass of ice water.
“Thanks for the lunch, by the way. It was great,” she said, standing up from her chair and pulling the straps of her leather purse over her shoulder after she grabbed her keys from inside. She could have been bold in that moment and ask Finn over, but she wasn’t sure if that might...scare him off. She’d need a push in the right direction.
Finn smiled as his phone went off in his pocket and he pulled it out to see her message then added the number to his contacts before standing up with her, “It was my pleasure.” In that moment he found that he didn’t want to part ways with her and as he moved around the side of the table to join her, he acted without really thinking, for the first time in a long time, and leaned down to kiss her lightly on the lips.
Sage was a bit surprised by the kiss he gave her, gentle and sweet on her mouth. It made her smile and return the action, showing she clearly enjoyed it. Maybe Finn was as surprised by the whole thing as she was. At least there was interest.
“If you wanted...you could come over and look at my roller derby pictures,” she questioned as an invite, her eyes narrowing seductively while the woman’s lips curled into a smirk. She wasn’t sure if Finn would take her up on the offer, but guys usually jumped at the chance to be with her if they felt like their masculinity wasn’t in any danger from a boxer.
Finn couldn’t help but lick his lips a little as their lips parted and he straightened up again. Now that he’d kissed her, he realized that he could have really screwed things up, but the fact that she’d kissed him back meant that she clearly hadn’t minded. At her question, he quirked a brow slightly, unsure if she actually meant roller derby pictures or something else. Either way, he wasn’t about to say no, “I’d like that.” No matter what she had in mind, it meant spending a little more time with her, which was what he wanted.
She grinned at him and shifted her keys in her hand. “Great, you can follow me,” Sage told him, turning on her heel and walking out of the deli and towards her car, unlocking it. She gave Finn another smile before opening the door to slip into the driver’s seat and start the engine. The woman waited until he was in his own vehicle, then reversed out of the parking lot and out onto the road, leading him along.
Finn returned her smile and followed her outside then got in his own car, all the while wondering what exactly the night had in store for them. This was the first time in about six years that Finn was doing something unexpected and he was enjoying it. He waited until Sage pulled away from the curb then he followed her.
It wasn’t too unbearably long before Sage was pulling up into the drive of her apartment building, finding a space at the back of the parking lot and stopping her car. Waiting for Finn, she checked the state of her lipstick in the mirror and then emerged, locking her vehicle, purse dangling from her arm. “We made it,” she said, approaching him, smirk back in place.
Normally Finn disliked following other people in their cars, because he always worried that someone else would cut in between him and the car he was following, but following Sage had been quite easy and soon he was pulling his car in next to hers and getting out of his car, “It would appear that we have.” He smiled, waiting for her to lead the way.
Her apartment was in quite a nice neighborhood, though it wasn’t anything overly special or expensive, but it wasn’t the type of place that someone would fear walking around in alone. She was silent as she lead Finn inside the complex where she immediately went for the stairs, taking him up a few flights. In a couple of minutes they arrived at her nondescript door marked in gold lettering for her apartment number.
After unlocking the door, Sage let him step inside before her, displaying the clean, modern place she called home. Sage didn’t collect knick-knacks or anything that might take up unnecessary space and she obviously didn’t care for messes as all of her items had a place. Since the small entryway opened up into the kitchen and living space, Sage placed her purse and keys down onto the countertop and gave the content sigh of being home.
“Can I get you anything to drink,” she asked Finn, a polite host.
Following Sage gave Finn a chance to check her out without her noticing. Of course he’d tried to keep his gaze away from her ass at first, but as they climbed the stairs that became a little more difficult. Reaching her door, he waited as she unlocked it and as he stepped into the apartment first, he glanced around at his surrounds, at Sage’s belongings, “This is a nice apartment,” He said, glancing back at her as she closed the door, “Water would be good. Thank you.”
“Thanks,” Sage replied, walking into the kitchen and fetching a glass from the cabinet, filling it up with ice and water from the fridge. When it was full, she moved into the living room area and took a seat on the couch, giving a little pat to tell Finn to sit next to her. “I moved in after I moved up. So it’s been more than a few years now. Kinda makes me feel old,” she told him, making some small talk...even if she was tempted to jump him.
Finn joined her on the couch, taking the glass of water from her and taking a sip, “Why does it make you feel old?” He was curious as to why her apartment would make her feel that way. He didn’t want to just kiss her or whatever right away, not wanting her to think he was there for only one reason, so a little small talk seemed like a good idea to start with.
“Well...not the apartment itself. Just the fact it feels a bit like I’m settling, in a sense. I know I’m not old, obviously,” Sage started, slipping off her heels and turning her body to face his, lean legs curling under her body. “Twenty-five is not old, no matter what idiotic teenagers say. But the point is, do you ever have those moments where you look back on your life and realize how much time has passed and how you’ve...lost track. That’s why it makes me feel old,” she explained, touching his shoulder with a finger and smiling.
Finn understood that far better than she might have thought. Setting the glass down on the nearest flat surface, Finn nodded, “I know exactly what you mean. “There are times when it feels like life is just passing me by and I have to try and figure out how to slow down and enjoy life a little.” He had been trying to do that by spending more time with his siblings and trying to make friends.
A smirk slowly came over her lips and the finger that was on his shoulder made its way towards his chest while the woman leaned in closer. “So, you want to get some enjoyment out of life, Finn? I could help you with that, if you’re willing...which you obviously are. You kissed me, after all,” Sage mentioned, her focus not leaving his face, even as her finger made a path back up, soon cupping his cheek. “And we’re both adults here.”
She pressed her mouth to his, almost as gently as she had in reciprocation at the deli, figuring she would give him the chance to push her away, even if Sage highly doubted he would. Finn might have been honest and sweet, but he was still a man.
Finn definitely wasn’t going to push her away and showed it by kissing Sage back, one of his hands coming up to rest on her hip. He’d been thinking about doing this since she’d helped him pick out a suit for the wedding and now that he had this opportunity, he wasn’t about to stop. As he kissed her it almost felt like he was back in the dreams, kissing her in secret after having snuck out to meet. Whether it was because they didn’t want him revealing what they were or they just didn’t want Finn to have something they didn’t, neither Klaus nor Rebekah liked the fact that he’d been attracted to Sage, so they met in secret. This was just like that only now they were in her apartment and had no reason to sneak around.
When he returned her kiss, she let out a pleased sound, her tongue sliding out to lick at his lips and ask for entrance into his mouth. At the same time, her hand was moving to the back of his neck, her fingers running through his hair in gentle motions. Sage was completely content, and why shouldn’t she be? She had managed to draw Finn in and he seemed to be a better catch than her long line of exes (no offense to Damon). She might have been wanting someone to spend time with intimately as of late since the good men were scarce, but she was far from desperate. Holding out had seemed to do the trick for her.
As her tongue touched his lips, they parted to allow hers entrance, his own coming into play. Finn hadn’t really dated anyone over the last six years, spending most of that time on bettering himself, but he certainly knew what he was doing, the hand on her hip sliding up until his fingers slid under the hem of her shirt, touching the skin just above the waist her skinny jeans. He didn’t want to move too quickly, wanting to savour their time together.
She appreciated the fact that Finn wasn’t the kind of guy that sent clothes flying the minute he got turned on--she liked the build up, the lust for more, the fact that you had to be patient. Maybe she was getting soft now, but only slightly. Only enough that she could truly enjoy herself without finishing last.
Continuing to kiss him for a long moment, she eventually pulled back and inhaled deeply, licking her lips. She looked just like the cat that had gotten the cream. “That’s a real kiss,” the redhead whispered, mouth sliding over his with her hand coming down to pick at the buttons of his shirt. Sage leaned in again and she went back to enjoying his mouth, tongue licking at his, the warmth between her thighs growing as the seconds ticked by.
Finn was enjoying the kissing. He was enjoying the way her mouth fit against his and the way her tongue felt against his and the taste of her mouth. However, while he was enjoying the kissing, he wanted a little more and his hand slid further under her shirt, fingers brushing over her smooth, warm skin. His skimming the small of her back briefly then her side, fingers fitting into the dips of her ribcage as his hand moved higher.
She could totally let him feel her up and start to strip off her clothes on the couch, but knowing her luck (and...past experiences), it might have just been better to move into the bedroom. As much as she wanted to keep kissing him right then and there. Sage forced herself to pull away after counting to five and gave a sigh, hot breath hitting his slick lips. “You’re very hot and extremely tempting...which is why...bed,” she told him, pulling back further and standing, her hand twisting in his shirt and giving a tug for him to follow her, that dominant side showing itself again.
Finn smiled as Sage spoke and got to his feet as she began to pull him along by his shirt, “I think that may be a good plan.” He certainly wasn’t going to say no to moving to Sage’s bed. His heart rate was up and he was already half hard as she led him along. Halfway there however, he pushed her up against the nearest wall and fit his mouth to hers, needing to kiss her again even though it had only been about a minute since they had last kissed on the couch.
When she was suddenly pressed into a wall in her hallway by her companion, Sage immediately returned his hungry kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck to keep the man close to her. She enjoyed the fact he was feeling as horny as she was and knowing Finn’s struggle over the past few years, he was probably thinking he was pretty lucky today. It wasn’t often (or ever) that a trip to the deli got her sex with a hot guy.
“You’re distracting,” the woman managed to breathe out between kisses, smirking at his affection, her hands sliding towards his chest so she could start to undo the buttons of his shirt. At the same time, she shifted and rubbed her thighs together in the tight jeans she was wearing, making it even more obvious how aroused she was.
If Finn had enjoyed kissing her, he enjoyed the way her body felt against his. He laughed softly at her words and brought a hand up to cup her cheek, “So are you.” She was distracting in the best way possible of course. As she began unbuttoning his shirt, his other hand came up to the waistband of her jeans, which she clearly wanted to get out of. As he undid the button and zipper of her jeans, his fingers brushed the skin of her abdomen lightly, wanting to see her reaction before he went further.
Her reaction was a satisfied tremble, breath catching in her throat like the feel of his fingers sent a pleasant shock through her system. It also made her feel more determined than ever to get him into her bed. Once she had managed to get his shirt open, she slipped away from the wall and started tugging at him again to make the last couple of feet to her bedroom door. A door that was promptly kicked open before Sage jumped into Finn’s hold, arms around his neck, mouth practically glued to his.
Her bedroom was slightly messy from the rush of finding an outfit to put together, along with the makeup on her vanity, but her bed was large and warm and completely inviting, the sheets having been made after she woke up. *That* was an annoying habit from childhood she couldn’t break.
Finn didn’t even notice the clutter, too busy kissing Sage, his hands roaming over her body as he found his way to Sage’s bed and lowered her onto it, kissing her for a moment longer before he pulled away, hands sliding down her legs to her ankles. Wrapping his fingers around the hem of the bottom of one pant leg, he tugged lightly until it slid over her foot then moved to the other leg.
She laid back on the plush bed and watched him with wide blue eyes, giving a little laugh when he started tugging off her jeans, revealing the lacy pair of black panties underneath. Skinnies could be a hassle to take off, but Finn managed it well enough and when he was done, the redhead sat up to find his lips in another kiss.
Her hands roamed over his chest in appreciation, slowly making their way up to push his shirt from his shoulders. He was gorgeous, from head...well, so far down to the waistband of his pants she completely planned on getting rid of next.
Finn’s shirt slid off his shoulders and down his arms to land on the floor with Sage’s jeans, all the while he kissed her back, going so far as to nip at her bottom lip then sooth it with his tongue before moving to kiss along her jaw and throat, hands sliding up under her top till they cupped her breasts over her bra and a low moan sounded in Finn’s throat.
She wrapped her legs around his waist as he moved to kiss her again and give a little nibble that made her sigh in lust, her hold tightening for a second. The way his lips moved along her face and throat would have been enough to make any girl go crazy. Her panties were already a mess from all the foreplay and things were only getting more intense as the moments flew by.
Sage’s fingers had slid into his hair while his hands were working their way under her top to seek out her breasts that were still encased in too much fabric. Still, the action made her arch up, trying to get more of him...or possibly all.
Sage’s fingers in his hair felt amazing and sent a shiver down his spine to settle in his groin, which was becoming almost painfully hard. He couldn’t remember that last time he’d been this aroused this quickly, but it just proved how good Sage was at this. Sliding his hands out from under her shirt, his fingers curled around the hem and he pulled up, removing his mouth from hers to pull the shirt off completely and tossed it to the ground then instead of waiting for her to do it, he undid his pants and let them fall to the ground, stepping out of them as he moved to climb up onto the bed with her and cover her with his body, which was now clad in only a pair of black boxer briefs.
She lifted her arms to help him get off the shirt and had to spend a moment getting strands of red hair out of her face, messy from the top. Finn was pretty quick though, already pulling off his jeans before she could help, and then pushing her down onto the bed with his larger body. There was absolutely nothing to complain about, especially not the hard bulge that was pressed into her sex, making her shiver in want.
Wriggling beneath him, she reached a hand back to undo the clasp of her bra, soon tossing it into the corner of her room, not exactly caring where it ended up. But with her breasts bare, she allowed Finn to admire while her warm fingertips glided over one of her hardening nipples. “I’m wondering what part of a woman you admire most…”
Finn’s hips rolled down against Sage’s as he watched her, light brown eyes taking in her appearance, lingering on her breasts for a moment as he gazed down at her, “Well…” His voice was rough with lust and he licked his lips before continuing, “...I’ll admit, it varies with each woman, but at the moment I don’t see anything that I don’t admire.” He might not have been as smooth as Elijah or Klaus could be, but he didn’t think he was doing too terribly. Lowering his head, he ran his tongue over the nipple that Sage had just touched then took it into his mouth, sucking gently at first.
The feel of his hot mouth on the sensitive nub made her shake pleasantly beneath him, her hands fisting the sheets of their own accord. “That was pretty smooth,” the redhead said in a compliment, the reply coming across breathy, slightly uneven with her building lust. That mouth of his could go anywhere he pleased on her body, but in the meantime, her hands were certainly not going to pass up the urge to roam. Smooth fingertips ran along his back, down his spine, and she eventually caught the waistband of his briefs, pushing them out of the way while she learned the curve of his ass.
Finn laughed around the nipple in his mouth and nipped gently before moving to the other one, not wanting to neglect it. As her fingers moved over his skin, they left goosebumps in their wake. When she reached his waistband and started to push his boxer briefs down, he lifted his hips enough to assist her, but kept his hands near her torso, one hand resting just under the breast he was currently focused on.
She did her best to push his briefs off with the tangle of limbs and the fact that his mouth was still attached to her chest, which made it rather difficult, among other things. The woman made a little groan and soon gave up, instead pressing her knees into his sides against his ribs and her hands on his chest. The redhead pushed and rolled at the same time, managing to flip Finn onto his back, leaving her on top, groin nestled on his.
Sage smirked down at him with satisfaction and ran a hand through her hair, taming the now messy locks just a bit before she went back to the task at hand. It was a simple matter to push his briefs off the rest of the way when she turned around on him and leaned over, displaying her ass in the tight, small panties. She figured he’d probably enjoy the view.
Finn had never been one of those guys who needed to be on top, so when Sage flipped them over, he went with it, groaning as she pressed down on his erection, which was very difficult to miss. When she pushed his briefs down and off, he hissed slightly as the air hit his heated flesh. “Shit…” Whatever else he was going to say died on his tongue as she moved so she wasn’t facing him any longer and he could help but run his hands over her ass and up her back.
She smirked to herself from his reaction, hearing him curse under his breath as his hands slid along her ass and up her spine, making her hips buck once along his now bare erection. It was rather...generous from what she could feel through the thin layer of her underwear that were soaked from her juices. And as much as Sage wanted to fuck him into next week, she had rules, and any man that didn’t want to listen to them did not pass Go or collect.
Turning and moving to lie down at his side and half on top of him, Sage pressed her breasts into his chest and looked into his brown eyes. “And not to spoil the mood but, you gotta wrap it,” she told him, patting his chest.
He could feel just how wet her was through her panties and before he had the chance to get any more hands on, she moved so she was lying half on him and half off, his hand now running through her hair as he gazed up at her, “Of course.” There were a lot of guys who made excuses on why they couldn’t wear condoms and with the exception of the times he’d had sex under the influence, he always wore them, “I assume you have some? I’m afraid I don’t.” After all, he hadn’t been expecting to have sex when he’d stopped by the deli.
“I’m always prepared,” she told him with wink, stretching out to reach her nightstand. She pulled the drawer open and took out one of the packages, placing it in his hand. Sage settled back into her place at his side and let her fingers slide down his arm while her eyes skimmed down his body, stopping at his groin. Inhaling suddenly, she looked back up at him and stole a hungry kiss, feeling like it’d been eternity since the last one.
Finn’s fingers wrapped around the foil package as Sage placed it in his hand and kissed her back, pressing his tongue between her lips almost immediately. She was intoxicating and he was fairly certain that he could get lost in her kiss, but he had other plans. As they kissed, his free hand slid down her side and over her stomach until his fingers slipped underneath the waistband of her panties then lower until his fingers found what he was looking for and groaned into her mouth as he felt just how wet she really was.
Feeling his hand sliding down between her legs, she opened her thighs up wider and gave a moan full of bliss. She’d been waiting to be touched ever since they’d started stripping off clothing, but Sage could be patient when she wanted to be, and right now, that patience was wearing thin. She teethed at her bottom lip and wriggled her hips, tugging off her panties and letting them fall on the floor over his discarded briefs.
The redhead smiled at him as she pulled out of the kiss and let her hand find his at the apex of her legs. His fingers were soaked from her sex and she guided them in a slow steady rhythm, rubbing up against her sensitive folds to make her gasp.
“This is the part where…some guys feel pleased that they’ve found out if I’m a real redhead or not,” she teased, knowing if he moved his hand, he’d get the answer.
Finn almost couldn’t believe that he had made her that wet. He had turned her on this much and he couldn’t help but smile a little as she pulled back, quirking a brow at her, “Was I supposed to wonder that?” Taking his hand away, he glanced down briefly then brought his eyes back up to Sage’s, still smiling, “Thought so.” His erection throbbed as he finally tore open the condom package and rolled it down onto it. Rolling her onto her back, he moved over her, gazing down into her blue eyes and kissed her once more as he brought his hand back down between her legs, two fingers sliding inside her easily.
“You can wonder whatever you want,” she told him, smiling back at the man, glancing down as he rolled the condom on. Her gaze wandered back to his face as he flipped her onto her back, trapping her beneath his larger body again. She spread her legs wide in offering and wrapped her arms around his neck to hold him close. Sage wasn’t usually like this--she was often times just into the fucking and that was about it. But for reason, she was pretty content in their large amount of foreplay.
As Finn pressed two fingers into her core, Sage lifted her hips off the bedsheets and curled her toes, crying out in a moan. There was a little clench and then she seemed to relax a fraction, giving a thrust of her body back onto the digits. “Finn,” she whispered, licking her lips.
Sliding his fingers out of her, Finn stroked himself twice, slicking himself with her juices then positioned himself and slid inside her, slowly at first, groaning as the heat of her body enveloped his erection. “God….Sage..” He moaned her name against her lips, stopping for a moment so that this wouldn’t be over before it started then he slid in the rest of the way, his fingers curling in the duvet.
She stayed as still as she could underneath him, allowing the man to take his time to push inside of her at his own pace. She knew then that the wait and all the playful kisses and touches had been worth it. Every inch of him filled her and she gave an experimental buck as she lightly dug her nails into the skin of his shoulders. For once, she was completely alright with allowing a man to top her and stay in control. She couldn’t guarantee it would be the same next time, if there was one.
Everything she was thinking of saying died on her lips so instead she buried her face against his throat and took a deep, shuddering breath. She wasn’t sure how long she was going to last, sitting on the precipice of bliss.
She felt so good around him and for a moment Finn almost thought that he was dreaming. Was it really possible that he was here right now with Sage? He dreamt of her, of kissing her and sneaking around with her a few times now and he would have thought that this was yet another dream if it weren’t for the very modern setting, which was so very different from his dreams.
After a moment, he finally moved, pulling out almost all the way then thrust back in, enjoying the way her nails bit into the flesh on his shoulders and her breath against his neck and collarbone.
Getting used to his rhythm, Sage began to move with Finn in small thrusts, moan after moan coming out of her throat while the man guided himself deep into her core. She wrapped her legs around his midsection, giving herself a bit of better leverage in which to push herself back while he moved forwards, again and again. It was a tad choppy at times, but that was to be expected when you were feeling more pleasure than anything else. Her brain was practically mush at this point, making it hardly surprising when the first wave of an orgasm hit her, her smaller body shaking, arms clinging tightly.
She hoped it wouldn’t end for him right then and there. Sage figured she still had quite a bit left in her.
It took a few thrusts before Finn had a steady rhythm going, his thrusts becoming faster and harder. As he felt her shudder beneath him, Finn lowered his head, fitting his mouth to hers as he continued thrusting. He was close, but he wanted to try and last a little longer. Sliding his hand between them, he brought it down to where they were currently joined and blindly searched for her clit, wanting to get her off again before he reached his climax.
Sage panted beneath him, into his mouth as she eagerly returned the kiss he was giving her while his hips moved quicker and quicker. She was still feeling a post-orgasm haze while being steadily lifted into another high from the weight of his body and the snapping of his cock inside of her. She could feel one of his hands wandering down to find the hard nub of her clit at the same time, beginning to tease it so he could set her off once again. It wouldn’t be too difficult at this point, as long as he kept working her over hard and fast.
And that’s exactly what Finn did, his thrusts becoming a little erratic as he neared his own orgasm. His fingers rubbed at her clit as he best he could without being able to see what he was doing, letting instinct take over. “Close….so close…” He panted into her mouth as he continued thrusting in and out of her body.
Her face twisted up in pleasure and she showed the whites of her teeth as she tossed her head back on the bed, body arching up, nails digging deep into his shoulder blades. There was a tight clench around his cock as the woman came again, more intensely than last time, obviously. She couldn’t say a word and couldn’t move more than the subtle little thrusts back onto his hard cock as the remainder of pleasure made its way through her lithe frame.
As her body clenched down around him, Finn thrust in once more before he followed her over the edge as his orgasm washed over him. As he came, his head dropped down to the crook of her neck and he moaned her name and a few choice curse words into the side of her throat. The pleasure that coursed through his body at that moment was even better than any high that he’d ever had. If he wasn’t careful, he could get addicted to Sage, but that would be one addiction he wouldn’t mind.
She continued to pant for a few moments, letting her body and her mind recover, her hands wandering along his back in soothing motions, even in the little crescents marks left by her manicure. Sage couldn’t stop herself from smirking victoriously though. She hadn’t had sex that intense in...too long.
Finally thinking she was able to speak without a shaky tone, Sage pressed her lips to his ear and whispered, “I told you I’d help you find enjoyment in life.”
