Lancel had been after Kevan to take a holiday for what felt like years now. The boy was eager to prove himself to everyone except his father and the persistent sometimes nagging suggestion that Kevan just leave made it seem as if he was suffocating the boy. Every parent tried to mold their children though it would seem that Kevan might be trying harder than most.
Perhaps a holiday was in order. He and the three boys. They were more men then boys now and while their familial dynamics had changed as a result he couldn't help but think this would be good for all four of them.
