Rose laughed as well, imaging Luisa asleep on her desk, perhaps a paper stuck to her face afterwards. She shook her head, thinking that was quite possible for her friend. Still, it was a credit that she was so passionate about her work to keep going, even after sleep was demanding a turn.
"It seems California is doing you well then!" she said with a grin. "I only wish it had done the same for me!" She grinned, wondering how she had come to talk about what she really wanted to do with her life so much today. Perhaps it was a sign?
"I really want to travel," she said. "Anywhere. And for no reason, only to take in the cultures. I'm starting to save up, but I don't know where I would want to go first or what I would actually do. And what could I do to make a living off it? I wouldn't want to just go on holiday to come back here. I feel like the first time I visit some exotic or far off land I'll never want to return to normalcy!" She had been trying to think of jobs that would require traveling, but so far, she could only come up with ones that required a higher education and that she did not have.
"A natural gift," she said smiling. "Well it's certainly apparent! No artistic gift in me unfortunately. You should see my poems when I was little! And my drawing hasn't improved much from that either."
