Who: Hannibal Lecter, Abigail Hobbs What: Awaking from dreams When: Earlier this week Where: The Lecter home Ratings/Warnings: High, just in case Status: In-progress
Hannibal is starting to get very tired of these dreams. This time, at least, he doesn't jerk awake so much as roll over with a groan and wrap himself tightly around Abigail, nose against her pulse, finding comfort in the scent of her skin.
He doesn't mean to wake her, only to hold on tight to someone he wants very badly not to lose. And now, with these new dreams, he worries it might be possible. Worries that he's too much like her dream father, and that she'll start to pull away from him once she knows what he's done. Or what his dream self has done, but there's still some confusion as to whether or not those are one and the same.
