As much as he’d been watching closely for signs of danger, Renly was still taken aback when the man hissed at him and grabbed for his sleeve. Clearly this man was a nutter, and for Renly to allow himself to be led away from a public place by a nutter would be equally insane. So why was it that he couldn’t seem to stop himself from getting to his feet? This man either knew him somehow or he was crazy, and yet Renly felt the strongest urge to follow him. He would follow him anywhere.
“Who are you? What’s your name?” He tugged the man’s hand free from his sleeve, glancing back at his steaming plate of food for a second. He could have sworn that two minutes ago he was hungry. Now, he was just confused. He glanced back at the man and then nodded, gesturing that he would follow behind.
Renly wasn’t sure what he’d done to elicit such anger – but that anger didn’t seem to stop the man from wanting to talk to him. Was this insane? Renly was positive that he had never met this guy… and yet. And yet. Who was he?
