Spotting Padme at the counter was easy, walking over to her was a little more difficult. It wasn't dread he felt, because this sage between she, Anakin, and himself, had been in motion for some time. Lately, though, it felt as though the wheels were spinning in the mud, leaving Obi-Wan to wonder if it would be wiser to leave the mechanism behind or get behind and push.
The most recent events surrounding Anakin had been more disturbing to him than anything before. An entire tribe slaughtered in rage. A Jedi wasn't meant to deal out judgement and death. It went against everything for which the Order stood. Obi-Wan was all too aware of what he himself had been unable to do at the red lava shore of Mustafar.
