"Travel space and time, sure, but you don't expect the first place you'll go is the end of the world." She looked up at him with a crooked smile, not sure how much of the intended levity translated, given the context.
She shook her head a little. "I don't even know if it was the first place. There are gaps. I just know I was frightened and angry and you weren't telling me things." She'd been so upset; he'd dragged her all the way across the universe and he wouldn't even tell her his name.
"But I think I know now why it would be hard to tell me more. I can't blame you."
