Rose was a little surprised she didn't feel more of those 'Stranger Danger' emotions. She'd certainly been put off by him at the club. Even after she'd started having the dreams, she didn't want anything to do with him.
"I.. I'm sorry," she said, looking down. True, she'd only made a few angry comments over the internet, which didn't seem so terrible in the long run, but she was apologizing for more than that. The things she'd thought about him.. She winced. "I think I understand now.."
"I couldn't figure out why you'd drag me to watch my planet die.." Okay, this was going to sound crazy and he was just going to have to be okay with that. "I thought you were being cruel." Everything has its time and everything dies. Rose shuddered.
Gradually over the conversation, her accent had been shifting away from her Oklahoma twang. She hadn't realized it, but by now Rose Tyler sounded like a native Londoner.
"But then.. You've seen it, haven't you? Your planet. Your people. I didn't know, I'm sorry." Sorry she didn't understand before, and sorry it happened. "Maybe you wanted me to appreciate what I have more. Thought I'd get more out of life if I knew it won't always be there." There was something to be said for that, she supposed.
