Zach & Angel
Her eyes lit up, "I love you too, sweetheart, wouldn't have missed this for the world." Maybe some of her motivations for coming here were selfish, but she did genuinely care about Zach and seeing him happy. His verbal show of affection meant a lot too, him being the only person in the family to have said that to her for years. Her brothers never said it though she knew they felt it, she hadn't heard from her father since the pictures of her first nude photoshoot had been released, the last time she had heard or seen her mother was in the courtroom during her emancipation hearing, everyone else had been rather distant because they didn't approve of her whole pageant upbringing. Anyone left after that seemed to disappear either with her party habits making the news or when she married her much older, very wealthy husband.
But she and Zach had each other now, at least for a while, and they both seemed happy enough. To hell with the rest of the family, she thought.
She took a few steps back, blowing him a kiss then wiggling her fingers in a little wave, "Call me when you two get back in town, we'll set something up. Now if you'll excuse me, there are far too many pretty people here who haven't partaken in the honor of flirting with me, that must be rectified!"
